We need a Kicker

This is definitely a troll-like post. Not explaining your rationale or anything, just creating something sensational

I think Buehler was rushing his kicks - pulling them

why is it a troll post. he barely made a 32 yarder and completely shanked a 40+ yarder. all his kicks were curving just like Folks were last season.

So anyone who has anything remotely negative to say about the Cowboys is automatically a "troll"?

he went 3-4 and missed a 49 yard field goal...

he should be shot if bullets could harm him

He'll be fine, just needs to aim 20 yards to the right from now on.

From what I saw live in Canton, the 49-yard kick was rushed because the protection was completely blown. He had to get the kick off or McBriar would have been tackled, literally. That's how blown the blocking assignments were on the left side.

Sigh to this kind of blind homerism. I hope hardcore that he had an off night and that he's going to get consistent before the season but he looked bad kicking field goals tonight.

He barely scraped in one of the EXTREMELY short field goals, and the 49 yarders was pathetic, to say the least.

I think Matt Stover is available...though he's 42 now.

Stover is 83.7% on FG's and 99.5% on PAT's for his career.

As a kicker he needs to block all that out and just kick the ball. There are always going to be people flying around him, if he is conscience of that stuff he has no shot at making it.

I dont care if he is chipping in every field goal as long as their going in

You're not reading what I wrote. If he just "blocked it out" and kicked like normal, he would've been kicking a pile of bodies with McBriar on the bottom buried by Bengals.

:laugh2:that just sounded funny.

The Buehler myth lives on!

There would be no survivors.

Jerry please spend the money to pay for a kicker

Unless he does really lousy, they arnt going to sign one till before the season opener, nor should they.

He hit 3 chip shots almost pulling one of them...And sorry, but that 49 yarder needs to be hit. This could be bad...and Jerry's face showed it...

DING...DING...DING! It was a bad snap and a slow hold...He shanked it because he rushed it.

Not to mention, he still went 3/4 tonight.

He is still relatively new to kicking and has still done pretty well in training camp by all accounts. If he begins to miss 30-40 yarders consistently the way Folk started to last season, then I'll worry. But for now, I think he's doing just fine.
