We need a younger QB next year

Dak did ok I guess

But it’s pretty clear to me we need a younger more mobile QB next year

Dak is to slow on even play action passes, he’s just getting old
361 yards 2 tds and 1 int and besides Aubrey, was key to winning the game. So stopped reading your hate after the first sentence.

It's really not tough to say. Besides Brady and Rodgers, how many qbs play at high level passed 35?
Its just a different era for football. But off top Phillip Rivers, Big Ben, Rodgers, Brady....Ryan Fitzpatrick played awhile.....Peyton did....Stafford is I think 38 or 39....Kirk Cousins is 37....Russ is 37....
He did? I thought Tom decided when to retire. What did the highest paid player in NFL history have to do with that?
He destroyed him in Tampa Bay. Took his soul.

More slow starts with Dak. Its a common theme with the guy. Its like he has to start a game with cement shoes to warm up. It isn't deadly to do that against ish teams like the Giants. You do that against the upper tier teams and you're going to get knocked the *** out and that's been the main theme of this dude’s entire career. He feasts on cream puffs with the wind behind his back and can't get it done when going against the wind and facing a defense that punches him in the face.

All of us have seen this same story with him EVERY year. Rinse and repeat.
Well he started off fast against the champs last week and still lost lol.

good O line, good receivers, good backs, a qb who can read defenses, audible, lead, evade sacks and throw is what you need

this idea that you cant win without a qb who runs is nonsense

now I am not saying Dallas has all the things Ive listed above

I forgot Peyton too lol, and I said high level

It’s tough to say. He doesn’t seem to be getting worse. A lot of people last week were saying that’s the best he’s ever looked. His demise is exaggerated.
Not exaggerated.. just wishful thinking. Dak may or may not have hit his ceiling in 2023. If that IS his ceiling then I think we're gonna be okay because QBs typically maintain their top level longer than just about every other position on the field. Dude dotted up the Giants today just like he dotted up the Eagles. I have seen nothing that indicates he's on this great decline for which these people are hoping. I think he realistically can play at this level for 5-6 more years. And when he does I am going to be here to laugh at the idiots wishing so hard for him to fail!

What's your defintino of high level? I get that last SB run was weak by Peyton but he had some solid performances late 30's.

I just think with Dak I need to see it. You can see it coming when a guys career is on its way out. Typically. And maybe by the end of the season I will feel different but like I said earlier he's starting off this season better off then he has in a long time. Since 2019.
