If I can shore up that O-line even more, that's what I do. I also potentially grab a vet kicker in case Anger doesn't turn out.

Pollard is 6.0 feet, 210. Zeke is 6.0, 225. we have not lost much in size, but we gained a ton of speed and elusiveness by Pollard being the lead back.. Turpin scored a 7 yard td through traffic.

we are fine. Enjoy the season. This could be a special season. Our D is special.

The offense dialed everything back with the lead, the performance of the D, and the weather being what it was. Their main goal was to soak up some time and avoid turnovers.

Give them 6 games and see where they are at.

Seeing Dallas live ;

The offense is SMALL- Deuce - Pollard - Turpin - tiny .
Cooks is hard to see - really really short out there .
Ferguson has trouble getting separation- Hendershot is a backup .
Rico is smallish too ,

Schultz was a big target with great hands and really knew how to find a pocket and got open on 3rd downs.

Dak throws a high over the middle ball which has hurt him over the years.

Before the deadline we need a big TE or Possession WR over the middle.

I like all of the aforementioned plus CeeDee but I know what I saw .

Listening to mad dog on xm right now he said the same and so did a few callers.

Dak needs a guy he can safety valve too over the middle ala Dalton.
Turpin is a gadget guy and Deuce isn't going to play much IMO. Their size is kind of meaningless and actually may help them out in space on their one or two plays per game where we simply want to get theme the ball in space and Turpin sure didn't look too small on that TD run. Cooks is small but has been small his whole career and is a #2 with us no longer a #1. Ferguson doesn't have separation issues IMO and actually the opposite as it is a strength of his IMO, plus he is the same height as Schultz (your comment: "Schultz was a big target"). The last thing I want us to use our cap space on (more thinking about the rollover into next year than this year) is another WR.

Mad Dog is entertaining but does not know this team like you or I do. We have a top 10 #1, a top 10 #2 and a top 10 #3 and a guy in Tolbert who showed in the preseason and all offseason he may be a player and be able to contribute. On the TEs I'm more concerned with their blocking and I thought they did ok last night. Ferguson in particular manhandled a guy on the edge on one play. I didn't like the drops but I think the kids can get open and hopefully will show better hands the rest of the year and I don't recall Schoonmaker even being targeted so let's see how he is as well. The Offense wasn't overly impressive but it was a tough game to be impressive. It was a blowout and raining very hard as you know if you were there. The biggest goal for the offense for most of the night was not turning it over and running clock

After your prediction that the Giants would blowout rhe Cowboys, maybe you should hold off on what they need. You were only off about 80 points in week 1.

Ha-ha, was that the same guy? I didn't remember the name. I guess he is just trying to save some face and pretend he wasn't a million percent wrong, whereas a better man would just admitted he was wrong and not doubled down on stupid

Literally Jake and Dalton are the same size, 6'5" 244. Jake had a rough game catching the ball last night, i doubt it happens again.

Pollard is 220 lbs. Rico is 215lbs.

Cooks will be a big weapon for us this year, just didn't happen much last night because we didn't have a lot of time on offense.

Patience.

Replace? They were down to their 3rd LG last night. Quality depth wins games late in the year. The OL was thin coming in.
Yeah if you bring someone in that means that you have to cut someone too. I thought that Odoga and Bass both played pretty well once in the game. I wouldn't cut either of those guys at this point. I doubt moving on from Asim Richards is even an option. Hoffman I could see as an option to get rid of to create a roster spot, but then you also need to bring in someone who can play C which narrows your options.

I'm really just not sure who you target as an option and who you let go to bring that player on. Had Odoga/Bass gotten beat badly last night I think that is a different discussion.

OL seems like it should be at full strength for week 2 unless I'm missing something.

Is this thread a parody. They scored 40 and it was awful weather. And this was the first team offence first real game action this year…enjoy the win…and Dak did not turn the ball over in AWFUL weather…
Offense had 1 great drive - first drive 2nd half TD . This was a defensive special teams win.

Let the TE’s develop. We’re fine.

You don’t spend the resources we did on TEs then go get a progress stopper.

Biadasz was not very good last night. Tyron Smith is a an if history repeats itself waiting to happen. The TE room looks it could it take a trim/trade.

He admitted he was wrong.

A better man wouldn't have made such a ridiculous post to begin with.

I would prefer O-line depth over another weapon. We have CD, Pollard, Gallup, Brooks, Turpin, etc. We should give the TE position time to sort itself out. Maybe the rookie ends up being good.

Our O-line depth is shaky. Dak performs better with good protection vs good weapons. If we can run the ball and give Dak some time, he will do better than if he has a bad o-line and a ton of weapons.
