Hooker, Kearse and Wilson have all been slightly disappointing this season. If it wasn’t for Bland, I think we’d be calling the secondary a team weakness rn.

Agree. They've been adequate, and a big upgrade to what we used to trot out at S, but they've been just OK.

Need that ballhawking CF type.

I think this is a valid point although I am hesitant to react after one game. It is true, you rarely see a safety involved in those long pass plays but like others have said, I think it is mostly scheme.

On the other hand, I have been watching Donovan Wilson and he is not the same player we saw last year. Even his run support has been inconsistent. Maybe it is his injury. I don't know, but he had a bad game against Seattle.

Hooker seems invisible most games. He isn't the player he once was. They need a ball hawk at safety. Is that Mukuamu? Juanyeh Thomas? I don't know but I think it is an area we can live with now, but maybe upgrade in the offseason.
