We need this guy back

This thread is really showing some seriously delusional and desperate thoughts, from him actually finding a coordinator job remotely attractive to him actually playing again.

It is pathetic that this kind of thread actually exists thanks to our ridiculous reality we have with the current QB and offensive state.

Seems to get worst the more time he spends with this coaching staff.
Do we need to sign Romo as the QB coach?

That video is kind of depressing to watch. Simply because Dak has regressed so much since his rookie year.

No matter what the cause of that is, whether it be his own weaknesses, factors around him, or both. It is depressing that he went from a QB doing those things, to the mess he is right now.

You’re kidding, right? Romo was great when his body could hold up to the rigorous hits of the NFL. You think TRs body would have held up for those 11 sacks our OL has given up so far this year?

Why not ask Roger Staubach out of retirement? His body is probably as ready as Romo’s.

I don't think Romo would have been sacked close to 11 times, but yes, it is extremely likely he would have held up if he was.

Omg Jesse holy was just on the radio talking about the time tony had broken ribs and a puntured lung.

They were mounting a comeback and miles austins hammys were acting up so holly got to play. Holly told Tony "I'm ready". Garrett called in some play that's was something something Harvey. Tony said **** and changed the play to Z poker. Boom hit Holley and the cowboys eventually won.

In the plane holly walked by tony who was trying to sleep but still in pain from his ribs and lungs and asked " tony why did you change the play".

Tony said " cause you told me you were ready"
And went back to sleep

Wooooooooooh

And we all believe in Santa Claus and happy endings and good guys always win and finish first, and all that stuff, right? Lol.

Since we are dreaming.....let's get
  • Aikman as GM
  • Romo as offensive coordinator
  • Emitt as running backs coach
  • Irvin as receivers coach
  • Moose at fullbacks coach/ special assistant of something
  • Novacek as tight ends coach
  • Charlize Theron and Megan fox as cheerleaders coach and stuff
  • Kevin Costner as team mascot
:lmao::lmao2::laugh:

A job Tony Romo is completely unqualified for? No experience coaching and they make him OC? This is really a foolish idea. No knock on Romo, but calling plays in a TV booth is NOTHING like being an OC. It never happens like this in the NFL for a reason. Being an NFL coordinator is a very tough job.
It has been said that Romo ran the meeting room so I don’t know if he is completely unqualified

Exactly. I want a coach that isn't an extended part of the Jones family and can be removed if he doesn't perform. Romo's fine where he's at... making a ton of money with time to spend with his family and golf.

Build up that resume, get some years in somewhere. I don't see a guy who wants to coach anyway? But you're right, no extension of 'the family' and no inexperience. It's just stupid at this point. Cowboys have zero wiggle room to take huge chances like this.

This forum is honestly going to make me hope something bad happens to romo, so there is zero possibility about him ever ever ever coming back at any capacity.

Can anyone see Romo coaching Prescott? The guy who took his job? I can't. I think if it was offered to him while he's making $5mill per as a commentator for CBS inside he would laugh his arse off as he should. He wouldn't say it but it would be "hell to the no". A few years from now maybe but Tony is having fun. JMO of course

Let's see, which has the higher probability, JJ firing JG or JJ offering Tony a job. Today I would say JJ offering Tony a job. Probability changes with every loss however

Most definitely. That's why Prescott had an outstanding rookie season. Romo was still on the sidelines. Now poor Dak has Kellen. And we've seen his coaching results.
