We need to beat the Giants

As you can plainly see, this does not compute for Robby. A common malediction that includes the human race unfortunately.
Robby is not immune, having been programmed by humans.
I wished Robby had picked up a ray gun and shot Dr. Smith during many episodes. :muttley:

Oh, the pain! The pain!
I remember one of his first roles in Earth Vs the Spider when he plays a 34 year old High School student.
He started the casting ideas for Beverly Hills 90210!

One of my first memories of him besides Lost In Space was the commandant of Space Academy (I think), which ran on CBS Saturday mornings (I think again). Funny. Back then, I respected his acting more for that children's show than LIS.

They need to focus and beat every team. Division games and other playoff teams especially

Yea, this is certainly the most important opening game since at least last year.

The Giants finished 2-5-1 in their last 8 games last year. Their point differential was negative for the season. Their defense ranked near the bottom of the league. For all of the grief Dallas gets for being overhyped every year, its basically automatic for NY teams.

If Dallas truly thinks of itself as a contender, they should take care of business against second tier teams like this.

I wonder what your OC is planning now that he sees NY will be starting two rookie CBs.

But don’t forget, Wink Martindale, NY DC, loves to send people from all directions. I’m hearing Isiah Simmons will be used primarily to go get Dak. And everyone knows Thibs and Ojulari are licking their chops to get them some Dak too. And Sexy Dex and Leonard Williams can bring the heat up the middle.

Can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Your new OC is definitely getting baptized, having to scheme against Wink, in his first game as a Cowboys OC. While he may want to chuck it downfield against the rookies, he also doesn’t want to give up a sack in doing such.

So what game plan do you want to see ?

We passed up a weapon in Hyatt for trash, third te
Hyatt was one of the guys I liked in the draft and I'm always a BPA guy, but the fact is we don't need him. The guy the Giants drafted that I wanted was the center Schmitz. As far as Schoonmaker goes don't be one of those fans that decides a guy was a mistake before he ever even plays in even one real game and then spend the next 5 years trying to trash him to justify your opinion...although I suspect I am too late on that one...

You don’t need a desean Jackson type player…..every team needs that

The same game plan as the last 12 games where we beat the brakes off you.

According to many here the season is over because of the QB.
I think what they mean is everyone's effort is going to be wasted because of the QB. You know, kinda like the last two seasons.
In my opinion Dak absolutely doesn't deserve this team around him. But it's the front offices fault for not finding his replacement a few years ago.

I think they are going to be dangerous and underrated this year. A playoff team if we don’t take care of business. I could see them going 11-6 and us going 10-7 if we lose to them here. Take care of business and get that W
Losing to the Giants could be the catalyst that ends the hopes for the season before it starts.
It is imperative that the Cowboys not only win, but that they do it convincingly- meaning they play solid ball.

Lol….I think we won one game of the last 12. In fact I’m sure of it…..

Nevertheless, your point is duly noted…..but, this Giant team is not the Giant team led by coaches and coordinators who don’t have a clue. I’m sure you know, after Tom Coughlin, the Giants were led by Curly, Larry, and Moe…..until Joe Schoen walked into the house and anointed Coach Daboll to lead the men to battle. He then in turn hired two very successful and wise coordinators- Martindale and Kafka (protege of the great Andy Reid)- to come up with game plans to enhance our chances for success (unlike the previous coordinators who had no clue).

I say all of this to remind you of this….yes, you beat us both times last year with the present coaches and that counts for something….but the 10 before that means nothing to me, today. My team stunk and had stinky coaches and coordinators. That is not the case today. I think I ask a very valid question- what will be your team’s game plan Because you can be assured, Kafka and Martindale will have one. Happy hunting….

So much angst on this board over Dak, one way or the other. Both sides are far too extreme.

So far, Dak’s past history says that he beats up on really bad teams and pads his stats against those teams. But he is not a horrible QB. He’s not a bottom 10 QB by any stretch.

On the other hand he has also, so far, proven that he will lose, more times than not against the better teams. He has never carried the team, and more times than not he has lost far more games than he has won (that he is responsible for personally). He’s merely a bus driver.

I am hoping MM can elevate Dak. If he can’t the team is really going to have to carry Dak to go anywhere in the playoffs. That’s just the way it is.

I think the WORST thing about Kellen Moore was the fact that he led Dak to always go for the big play rather than play smart situational football.

I hope MM really pulls back on Dak’s reigns hard and makes him choke a little bit on that bit. I think that’s the key to making Dak a better QB at this point. Dak has played very stupid situational football the last few years.
