He pushed it and they CONSISTENTLY RAN RIGHT PAST THEM needs to get off blocksYou didn’t see him consistently push the pocket and the forced fumble?

Yea he has not been worth the picks so far. That d-line was destroyed by an average offensive line. Completely embarrassed and blow off the line every single one of them. What exactly is this guy supposed to be elite at? If we’re being honest he’s had one good game as a Cowboy. His debut against the Raiders was great. Since he’s been very average. I saw him get pancaked today…yes his punch out was good but it was 8 yards downfield after he got mauled. Thinking I’d rather have that 1st and 2nd round pick back.
My bad. You’re right. We haven’t done well with our “premium” picks (first two rounds). Going back to when Dak was drafted in 2016:EZE wasn't a 1st rounder.

Or call him out like that. SMH....if I have to place Q on the 2026 Fall Guy list. Current leading nominees from this board today: Dak, Overshown, Q (???), Aubrey, Pickens, Ezeirauku (my leading pick for constantly losing contain) and Downs (???)It’s pretty bad when you gotta pick on Q![]()
The $ and picks invested in him dictate he has to be more. He needs a Simmons or Chris Jones type of impact, or it’s just the organization trying to justify another bad transaction. His main role is to holding the line and collapse the pocket.
He has never been any of that in his entire career. Not even close. The $ and picks invested in him dictate he has to be more. He needs a Simmons or Chris Jones type of impact, or it’s just the organization trying to justify another bad transaction.
Which was it - 8 or 10 yards downfield? No because
No because he didn’t, Stop it. He got mauled and punched a ball out 10 yards downfield. Highly overrated player.
Nice avatar!!!least of the defense's problems...
Small sample size but worth revisitingGave up a 1st and 2nd along with a huge contract for what? It’s a valid question…has he really been worth it? I see a very average player.
Probably should have been paired with Williams. But the FO aren't football guys despite what they think in their heads.I’d rather just keep Parsons. He at least used to make some plays.

That’s 10 years. What have we really gotten?
In terms of elite production, Zeke was the best in his prime but it only lasted 3 years. Lamb was probably the best considering prime and longevity. Tyler Smith has been a good guard. Obviously Micah was great, but we traded him.
A few guys gave us 1-2 good seasons, like LVE and Diggs. A few guys were total busts. A few guys were forgettable like Awuzie.
What does this team really have? The defense was historically bad last year and wasn’t any better last night. The offense was good last year, and was mainly driven by Dak (4th round pick) and an elite WR combo (1st rounder in Lamb and someone we traded for in Pickens). So really only two players (Lamb and Tyler Smith) were drafted with premium picks and would start on any team in the league.
Who is your teamSo you mean he didn’t being that winning mindset over from the Jets? I thought Schotty installed a new “culture” and everyone could “feel” it? Wasn’t QW named a captain a week or two ago? He still has that Jets stank on him, it’s only slightly worse than the cowboys stank.
