Witten has more of a reason to lie, because they were teammates and he didn't want to rock the boat.

Also TO his first couple of years was an elite playmaker. Now? Not so much. He's old. All players eventually decline. Even the mighty TO.

Why is it so hard to understant that this isnt about having TO? This is about how TO caused defenses to account for him.

Thats all im saying......

Like I said before.....this team needs that threat.......lets hope one of the WR's that we have can prove they are some sort of threat that defensive Coordinators have to pay attention too...

and the same coach that Harrison mentioned doubled and played cover 2 against the Bills.....

Roy Williams cannot and will not produce the same numbers as TO. By cutting TO we lost our big play, go-to receiver that we so desperately needed in that last game. Those throws to Champ Bailey? TO would have caught them.

No, Champ Baily would have jammed him at the line and TO wouldn't have even got to the endzone.

And how do you know it's not a pass he catches? It's not like he drops every pass that comes his way. He scored our only TD in the back of the endzone against Pittsburgh last season. The Jets just gave up 2 players and two draft picks for a receiver who drops more passes than TO.

Reading comprehension. I never said he would drop it. You said TO WOULD have scored on that pass. I said how do you know he catches it? You made an assumption that he would do something, I just pointed out that you were assuming something.

I get what you're saying. I just think superstar wideouts are overrated. There have been many Super Bowl winners recently that didn't have a stud wideout.

There's some good about not having a true number one, kind of like the Pats when they were winning Super Bowls. They spread the ball around so it was difficult to take their passing game away. If you focus on shutting down one target another one pops up.
