TO haters obviously lose another debate. Only Cowboy fans think Romo doesn't need TO/ another good reciever. EVERYBODY else knows the truth with no bias. It's actually funny to see polls about the most overrated player in the league and see Romo leading with damn near 95 percent of the votes. I'm sure its only Skins, Eagles, and Giants fans who don't know squat about football though. OH YEAH!

Yes, there are aspects of TO's game that are missed, but he is 35 and declining and a pain in the *** too.

I think we miss the Terry Glenn factor. We need a quick/speed guy with hands that can get separation. The veteran savy wouldn't hurt either. Romo isn't on same page with Roy W or Austin yet. Hurd doens't play much.

Thats right!

Stupid blind homers

If Romo was any good he would never be on a poll about the leagues most overrated players.

Lets see .... it was Brett Favre, Ben Rothlisburger, Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, Eli Manning.

Bunch of overrated clowns.

I dont put stock into those player polls until I start seeing names attatched to the votes. And lol @ people bringing up how you run to mods to get people banned. Glad I'm not the only one who sees that too.:)

Really? Because Rodney Harrison said when Belichick was making his defensive game plan for the Cowboys game, they didn't really worry about TO. They were worried about stopping Barber and Witten.

Yes really....why is it so hard to accept that TO caused defense coordinators that played against him...to double team him.......he was a threat..

When Buffalo played NE this year....why did NE...play a cover 2 and even dropped their LB's back deep? To prevent Buffalo's WR's from making a difference....Did you watch that game?

All you have is Rodney Harrison saying that Witten and Barber posed more of a threat....and I agree Witten is more valuable then a TO type player.

But TO caused problems and opened the field up for Witten.......just ask Witten.....he even said it himself.....

So you believe Harrison but you dont believe Witten?

Im not a big TO fan....but I find it funny how we can deny that he caused issues for Defense Coordinators while being with Dallas. Its been well documented that Owens was shadowed...doubled...keyed...alot of times......and even tho he dropped some balls....the threat he caused had to still be accounted for.

But to some....he wasnt never accounted for...and was JAG.....

We dont need TO back....but we need the threat he caused on defenses back.

I really do not know what you are talking about here ..... but I do know those koolaid drinking mods have programs that they use to find out if two usernames are using the same IP.

I just do not understand it ..... why do they care if someone who has been banned comes back with a different username.

They are just trying to silence us true fans.

Go Bills errrr I mean Cowboys!!!!

Rodney is an obvious TO hater, so why would anybody take his opinion on anything?

Witten has more of a reason to lie, because they were teammates and he didn't want to rock the boat.

Also TO his first couple of years was an elite playmaker. Now? Not so much. He's old. All players eventually decline. Even the mighty TO.

TO will decline, but him having Trent Edwards as his qb has alot to do with it. He is playing HORRIBLE. He can't get the ball to Owens or Evans. You can't convince me that they both suck. If you put Owens on the Bengals instead of Chad he is putting up his usual numbers. He has a few years left in him easily. Ask Aquib Talib

Agreed. I wish people would stop quoting him, because I have him on ignore and I keep seeing his posts pop up.

And how do you know it's not a pass he catches? It's not like he drops every pass that comes his way. He scored our only TD in the back of the endzone against Pittsburgh last season. The Jets just gave up 2 players and two draft picks for a receiver who drops more passes than TO.

Those stats dont tell the whole picture. The problem is those numbers are coming off short passes, and inevitably we stall our drives with false starts, and holding penalties. Dallas has relied on the big play for some years now because of there lack of discipline.
y'know, the more I look at the numbers, the more the 2009 team looks not much different than the 2008 team. Sorta weird

Granted, penalties are an odd thing, they can be almost meaningless (and necessary such as to give the punter room) or, in some cases, be drive killers or cost a team points (phillips' false start).

through 4 games:
2008: 31 penalties for 259yds
2009: 26 penalties for 241yds

a slight improvement in the overall numbers but..not the great turnaround I'm sure many fans (including me) had hoped for this year so far. Though they finished 1st last year in penalties, they're 13th now, so there's hope I guess.
