27. Tyrod Taylor
28. Derek Carr
29. Jameis Winston
30. Johnny Manziel/Josh McCown
31. Ryan Mallett
32. Brandon Weeden

Gregg Rosenthal is ranking Weeden as the worst starter in the league, is about what I would expect as no one has seen Weeden start since the Arizona game.

Let's hope he plays well enough to get some wins (500 ball) and move up the charts. Must admit I am nervous but hopeful with him starting.

I wonder how Cassel wound have ranked on that list?

QB's of note/surprise, they have Big Ben @ 2 and our opponent this weekend Ryan @ 5.

I would imagine Cassel carries more league-wide and media respect. I'd guess he would have come in around 25-27. Weeden is probably better than most of the guys at the bottom though. I'd personally rank him at 28 as of now.

Weedens time is now. Its do or die for him. And I suspect he doesnt have long before he is replaced by Cassell if he isnt playing well.....

My spidey senses tell me, we are going to be pleasantly surprised. I am rooting for him...

of course my spidey senses have netted me -100 dollars on draftkings.com!!

The same Gregg Rosenthal who predicted the Cowboys would miss the playoffs last year after a 6–2 start?

Seldom am I critical of the sports media. I am not one to throw around words like mediot. In the vast majority of cases, they are just doing their job. However, in the case of Rosenthal, he is a total hater

Those last 4-5 could be in any order. Cassell would still be in the bottom 5 but maybe higher than 32nd.

Gregg Rosenthal has Drew Brees ranked at #9. I wonder what criterion he uses, or if he even watched Brees play since 2013. I'll put more stock in this ranking when I see Weeden start a game for myself.

Weeden won't be alone on Sunday, he'll have Scott Linehan calling plays he knows Weeden can execute. Tony said, "Brandon is ready to play", so let's just hope for the best and that the ball bounces for us like it does for the Giants. A little luck will certainly help, along with a dominant D.:)

He's not ranked there because no one has seen him start since Arizona. He's there because people have seen him start NFL games in the past.

Make no mistake, Weeden was a terrible QB when he started in 2012-13. Football Outsiders has him 36th in the league in '12 and 42nd (dead last) in '13. Yes, it was Cleveland, but there's no reason (other than hope) to expect him to be anything but one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Doesn't mean we can't win with him, but I sure don't expect it to be easy.

Probably right, Taylor is at 27 who beat out Cassel.

Yeah. If this is based on how they're playing now, I'd have Taylor even higher than 27.
Ex..They must be projecting Bradford, b/c he's playing nowhere near where they have him rated.

got news Brees isn't playing this Sunday so whoever their backup is, I imagine he'll bump Weeden up a spot! lol

Not based on last weeks performance.
Now let's be real here, but if he plays as he did last week he will move up the list.
Everyone seems to not look pass last years Arizona game, or his 5/15 in Cleveland.
But Someone had to see some good in him to be a first rounder.
