Weeden is just taking the Kurt Warner path to success.
From complete loser to a winner. I love it.

I just think being in the same system will help Weeden. I think he has the physical tool, having more familiarity with the offense I think will help slow the game down for him.
First time he's been in the same system 2 years in a row since 7th grade. And Atlanta isn't the Cardinals. He's got a real chance to do well in this game.

I agree. I think Brandon will be ready for this challenge
I hope, and expect, that they'll play to his strengths. He's got a great arm and throws the deep ball better than Romo. We've got a couple of guys who can go get the deep ball. Williams has hooked up with Weeden a couple of times on long passes before. We've got some big receivers and some guys who can run, I think we need to take a couple of good shots down the field to make the D fear our deep passes. Then run the ball down their throats, if they come up and crowd the box go back over top of them. He's not Romo, but that doesn't mean he can't be successful. He needs to drive the bus and make a play or two if they present themselves. As long as he does that we'll be in every game.
but there's no reason (other than hope) to expect him to be anything but one of the worst QBs in the NFL.He's not ranked there because no one has seen him start since Arizona. He's there because people have seen him start NFL games in the past.
Make no mistake, Weeden was a terrible QB when he started in 2012-13. Football Outsiders has him 36th in the league in '12 and 42nd (dead last) in '13. Yes, it was Cleveland, but there's no reason (other than hope) to expect him to be anything but one of the worst QBs in the NFL. Doesn't mean we can't win with him, but I sure don't expect it to be easy.

I'll never understood this kinda thinking
Derek Carr, IMO, is much better then 28 in the NFL.

27. Tyrod Taylor
28. Derek Carr
29. Jameis Winston
30. Johnny Manziel/Josh McCown
31. Ryan Mallett
32. Brandon Weeden
Gregg Rosenthal is ranking Weeden as the worst starter in the league, is about what I would expect as no one has seen Weeden start since the Arizona game.
Let's hope he plays well enough to get some wins (500 ball) and move up the charts. Must admit I am nervous but hopeful with him starting.
I wonder how Cassel wound have ranked on that list?
QB's of note/surprise, they have Big Ben @ 2 and our opponent this weekend Ryan @ 5.
