NO...Favre can't play at Texas Stadium. He has never won a game here. Just his mere presence on the sideline will cause us to lose....

If he causes team turmoil they can do what the Buccaneers did with Keyshawn.

I believe this was outlawed in the NFL

FAvres contract runs thru 2010. Three more years.

Rumor has it that TT called Brett last week and told him that they would take him back as the starting QB. They were going to have a PC during the Packer HOF inductions FAvre was attending for Frank Winters and announce it, but TT changed his mind on Saturday and told Brett that there was no need to make an announcement since he changed his mind and wanted to keep Aaron Rodgers as the QB. TT then told Brett that if he unretires, they will release him to sign with anybody he wants. Brett was set to send the papers into the league office on Sunday for Goodell to sign, but TT called him again Sunday Afternoon and said management decided they changed their mind and would not release him if he unretired. TT then apologized to Brett for the 1st call last week blaming the indecision on the PR pressure and needing to make a quick decision in a response to the horrible press they were getting in Green Bay. TT then said the next move is up to Brett.

Do you really think Favre has the leverage? He has NO leverage IMO.

If he decides to come back, the Packers decide what to do with him. If he causes team turmoil they can do what the Buccaneers did with Keyshawn.

They sure as heck don't have to trade him because he WANTS to be traded.

The Packers are bent over 12 million ways by Favre at the moment, I don't know what version of this you're looking at.

If he is adamant about suiting up, the Packers either pay him 12 million dollars, try to trade him and see if another team would pay him 12 million dollars this year, or just straight up release him and risk him going to a team in the division.

If they decide to keep him, no way is 12 million going to sit on the bench playing backup, he starts, period. Experiment with Rodgers, a fork stuck so deep in the done with the Packers new guy, his toes ache. Packers look like idiots too boot. Favre wins.

If they try to trade him, very few teams would take on that 12 million for a QB his age, the Great Brett Favre or not. Not too mention Favre could refuse any trade the Packers try to make. Favre still has all the power.

Or the third and last option, the Packers release him and he gets to chose wherever he wants to go, to whomever will have him. And in a clean-sweep, Favre takes it all and the Packers are left with only the itch he left them.

Packers 0
Favre 3

And the great thing, he's just getting started. Whatever they did to piss him off, I just hope it chokes them real good going down. I know I'm enjoying every moment of this Cowboy Fan giving it to the Green Bay Packers on a Grand Scale. You go Brett!

a couple of problems with your argument. If Brett wants to play, he has to play for the team that trades for him or he does not play. I am sure there will be conditional draft choices involved. So how is that a bad thing for the Packers. Packers could trade him to the any team for a 7th round conditional pick and if Brett wants to play he has to play for that team. And if he does not want to play for that team he has to sit out. How is that a win for FAvre.

2nd, the Packers are like 30 million under the cap. They can take FAvre cap hit with no problem. You say they won't pay that for a backup and I saw he will not unretire to become a backup.

3rdly, the Packers WILL put him on the roster before they let him to to the Minneapolis Vikings....

Greenbay isn't trading him to an NFC team and especially not to one that they'd have to know would only be bringing him in to try and trade out of here.

Favre isn't playing another down in this league unless it's with the Packers.
