JJ already stated he likes the guy... If we can get this guy in the late first or second I'm cool with this guy. I JJ does one thing before he bite the dusk it would be this. Manziel is the only guy I can think off that can match Bryant's intensity.
Manziel is a Romo 2.0 but with the clutch gene and alpha male gene. Manziel may be a plug and play... But if we could get a good qb coach for him that would be great.

Jerry would love to draft Manziel. Just think of the # of jerseys he'd sale on draft day. He would fill the stands and make him a bucket load of money. Nothing changes until Jerry changes.

Jerry is not going anywhere . He will be the GM for a while. I don't think he can build a Super Bowl team, but at least he can provide some entertainment by drafting Johnny Football. It has been a circus in Dallas for years. Big deal.jerry moved up in the draft for Mo, and if that is what it takes, go for it. Make Johnny a Cowboy. It just fits.

I would say this .... for the first two years, he can play some series as a change-up to Romo. He also would push Romo, which honestly I think that Romo could use right now. Then by 2016, he'd be ready to take over the team, ideally. Maybe a little earlier. That way, all the money you pay Dez and Sean Lee,etc, doesn't get wasted on years with a caretaker quarterback.

In other words, it's time.
