We Will Beat The Giants

We will beat the Giants....because Jerry said we'd beat them. For some reason Dallas matches up well vs the GMen. Dallas has the best Cover Corners Eli has faced this year and has made the difference in all three wins. As the season progresses the Corners seem to become more and more important, vs the Giants the 2nd time around is not the exception. Plus the Dallas Oline is starting to put things together, Romo is getting HOT. Liking Dallas this Week, should be a helluva game!

Having them as underdogs is understandable and far IMO. That doesn't mean the underdog has no chance of winning. I think we CAN beat any of those teams. It doesn't mean we will (or won't for that matter).

3-6 or 4-5.

It's Claiborne....take a hint. And no he really hasn't, he just hasn't been challenged a ton so you don't realize he's getting beaten more often than not when he is tested. Carr has been trash lately and is getting picked on a lot. I don't even know how we're gonna stop Cruz and Nicks and Hixon and Bennett.

The same way we stopped them last time?

Seriously do all the negative nancies have short term memory? I'm pretty sure the Giants got dominated week 1.

Winning by four = absolutely crushing.

Also, Demarco Murray wasn't injured week one. Neither was Barry Church. And neither was Sean Lee, who still might play but will likely be limited.

If you didn't watch the game just say so.

I watched the game. Nobody got crushed.

The Giants did. Sometimes the score doesn't tell the whole story. The Cowboys clearly dominated that football game.

to me this is the same exact team that started 3-4 last season.

so i say we have a chance, but most likely start 3-4 again

Sadly, I agree.

Hopefully we do what we couldn't last year, win games in December.

Ehh, that line screams a Giant win. I'd feel more confident if we were favored by 3.5.

Not trying to be negative but I'm not expecting a win next week.

How do you figure Cowboys by 2 screams a Giant win?

I'm just reading the line. Generally, home teams are spotted 3 points in the NFL. Vegas is begging people to take Dallas right now, and they will. The thing is, Vegas doesn't believe Dallas will win. It's a bate tactic.

If Vegas truly believed Dallas was winning this game, the line would be between 4-6.

Wow...u have it all figured out, huh??? Than why aren't you the richest man in the world right now, like Biff with his Sports Almanac from the future, like in "Back to the Future 2"?

There is no direct correlation between who "Vegas" believes will win a football game and the point spread. The goal of the sportsbook when setting a line is to get equal money bet on each team in the wager. The line would be between 4-6 if they thought that was the best bet to balance the action on the game.

I tend to agree, but Cruz isn't going to drop 3-4 passes this time. This a big time test for the oline and the entire D.

Our only shot is if Romo and the passing game come alive.

Bingo and bingo.

Funny how people are saying we're not gonna beat the Giants this season when we already beat them lol.

I'm not like confident that the Cowboys will win but the team knows they can and with Murray and Lee, I see no reason why they can't again.

Will they? I don't know but wouldn't be shocked if they did. I also wouldn't be shocked if they won and then lost against Atlanta the next week. This team does not handle success well.

I think the Cowboys will beat New York next week. here's why. Taking an opponent for granted. This has been something that has consistently happened with the Cowboys. They play an inferior opponent and play down to the competition. Then they go up against a team that at the very least matches their talent if not surpasses it and they play much better. You saw it in the first week when we beat the Giants. You saw it last week when we really should've beat Baltimore, and I believe we will see it again when we face New York again.

There's also gonna be a motivation factor in this football game. The Giants have yet to lose at Cowboys Stadium since it was built in 2009. They're a perfect 3-0. I'm sure everyone remembers Eli Manning drawing on the walls in the stadium after the Giants won the very first game played at the new stadium. Last season the Cowboys had a two score lead with about five minutes left and inexplicably lost the game. That game was the main reason they missed the playoffs. I don't think the Cowboys wanna let that happen again.

I believe there's gonna be a sense of urgency because they are at home and they haven't exactly been a dominate home team. Also let's not forget the schedule gets even tougher from here on out. After next week's game against the Giants the Cowboys will face teams like Atlanta, Philadelphia twice, Washington twice, Pittsburgh, and New Orleans. All formidable teams and all potential losses. They can ill afford to drop to 3-4. You could even argue it's a must win game.

One thing that will really help is the Cowboys will most likely be getting DeMarco Murray who has played very well in the first meeting against the Giants. If the offensive line can play like they did the last couple of weeks which I believe they will I think we win this football game. Just give Romo some time and he'll shred the Giants secondary. Hell the offensive line was having issues in the first game and Tony still torched New York.

Defensively obviously Lee getting hurt is a concern, but according to him it's not too serious so he should return. We just need to generate some pressure on Eli like we did on him in the first meeting and like we did with Cam Newton today. We finally got an interception. Morris Claibourne got the first of his rookie campaign. Hopefully there is more to come. Eli while a great player has been prone to knuckleheaded mistakes and if we get pressure we should generate some turnovers.

I predict a 24-21 Cowboys victory. :starspin

Did you forget that the Giants play their best football on the road? And for you to make this kind of prediction after the type of win we had today is beyond crazy

Good night

Good Night

Gonna have to beat the Giants at home one of these seasons.

Agreed...........you cant get ****** slapped at home by your division rivals year in and year out and expect to go to the playoffs.

At some point you have to sack up and defend your house.

First of all, Vegas doesn't set the lines based on who they think will win and by how much, they set them based on getting equal bets on both sides. That means no matter who wins, they profit. If they set lines "begging people to take" one particular team, they'd go out of business.

Secondly, the public perception is that the Giants are a bazillion times better than we are, and yet we are favored to win. In no way, shape or form does that suggest they're begging people to take us -- anyone who believed the Giants are better (which seems to be everyone but the "blind Cowboys homers") would jump all over the Giants PLUS 1-2 points. Put it this way, if they took only moneyline bets and the odds were the same, would more people bet on the Giants or the Cowboys to win? And now Vegas is giving points to the people who would bet on the Giants? Yeah, you couldn't be more wrong -- if you believe that the Giants are the better team.

Should also note that we have zero home field advantage, and recent history has shown we suprisingly play better on the road.

If you dont count the total suck teams like the Browns, against anybody that is any decent I think we have the worst home record in the league.

Or at least it feels like it. I actually think we have a better chance of winning on the road than at home nowdays...........how F'uped is that?
