I don’t see it. Mike and company are here to win and without a QB in the wings I just don’t think it happens. They need to draft a QB however no matter the situation. The last one we drafted was Nooch and he never developed at all.
With the removal of a number of coaches and reports that McCarthy could take over play-calling duties next season, I think both he and Dak could be on the hot seat. Much more so with McCarthy because Jerry isn’t going to leave his team without a viable QB. I believe the OC/OB change is to try and fix Dak. If the coaching changes don’t help Dak the Cowboys will start looking for his replacement, but they won’t move on from him until they find one. Jerry has already been through QB hell from 2000 until 2006 and he doesn’t want to go through that misery again and neither do the fans that have any sense.
