Write it down in magic marker.

McNabb can thump his chest all he wants after beating the junior varsity Ram team last Sunday at home. The Rams are worse than the Raiders.

ESPN will make us all sick with their Eagle/McNabb "love" this week. The hype machine will be officially kicked into overdrive this week. And EVERYONE will try to grasp at straws and tell us just how great the Beagles are - and how they will beat us.

The truth is - in 1 week from now - ESPN will be forced to eat their words.

We will SMASH the Beagles... We will take their pride and then we will take their women. (actually, forget the last part - their women don't have teeth!!!)

DOUBLE DIGIT win next monday night!!! We will make them look like the silly little team that they are.

Take it to the bank.

41-17

Are you one of the 80's American Gladiators?

On a serious note, I hope we smash the eagles, but somehow I think it will be a close game.

While I'd never post something like this after 1 game............it's nice to see fans confident again.

I'm thinking the same thing. Most NFL games are not blowouts and Philly is a better all around team than what we faced in Cleveland.

This game makes me VERY nervous. Philly is a much improved, albeit healther team, and there were a few plays away last year from making the playoffs-otherwise, they could easily have made alot of noise in the postseason.

Wait! Hold on. We may have something in the form of fine print.

Did you read the ENTIRE post? Up to and including any and all punctuation?

Think hard, now...........

If you guys are scared you should get dogs.

I'm not kidding with you. We are going to thrash that team.

McChicken will be running scared.

I have not felt this good about a Cowboys team since 1992.

I think Dallas will win but I don't think this is a 41-17 game that you are banking on. I like our team as well and think if we stay healthy we have a chance to go all the way but I don't under estimate other teams around the league regardless if I like or hate a certain team. In the case of Philly I can't stand them but I'm not blind to the talent they have on their team.

If Holland plays, this OL is going to dominate and the blitz will be totally ineffective. JJ may try and bring blitzes from the secondary to counter-act the fact that they won't be getting to Romo, and Romo will pick them apart.
Dallas should be able to score quickly.

With our secondary cast, McNabb will have nobody to throw to. The only thing I see them being able to do is use Westbrook some on screens to prevent and over-aggressive pass rush from Ware. But we just got tackle him well.

I agree that this game has the makings of a blow-out...

I'll say this: The Eagles D was playing the way I want our D to play. They (and the Steelers) were just terrorizing the other team. They were swarming the ball, gang tackling and decleating people and forcing turnovers. Our D is good but it's almost like a bend-don't-break thing.

Am I way off base here?

I think it had more to do with the defensive game plan we had in place for a top notch offense in Cleveland. Philly faced a bad Rams team and Pitt was dealing with the Texans not a top offensive team. I think we will see a more aggressive Cowboys defense this week against team we know very well.

The Eagles are a very good team. In fact, if they were to win, I'd say they win the divison , as I don't see the Cowboys going there in December and winning.

Right the only threat the eagles have on offense is Westbrook.

We shouldn't sleep on Desean Jackson. If Newman gets back i see us playing alot of man 2 man.

Well, I wasn't talking about just the Cleveland game I was referring to our D in general. So many times I watch a play unfold and the play gets made but it gets made with no real oomph, no anger, no real violence and bad intentions...you know? Maybe our team is too nice or something.

I don't think they have a swagger yet honestly. Those teams have Swagger i think this defense is still trying to find its identity

Like him or not McNabb is not a bad QB he has played most of his career without a great WR and yet has put up some big numbers over the years. As I said I don't take personal dislike of a team or player and make a judgement on his play. Philly has weapons and while I do agree Westbrook is a key I would not overlook LJ Smith who Philly loves to use up the seams. Also while they did only play the Rams they still had 3 WR who each went over 100 yards on the day. They have some WR entering year 3 of their career so I would not brush them off as of yet.
