I do not think Dallas will beat them 41-17. But I do think Dallas will woodshed the Eagles.
Our front seven is better than their front seven on defense. They essentially had no one in McNabb's face. That will not be the case against Dallas.
Our offensive line is not the rams offensive line. They can risk all and put their corners on an island, but Romo ain't the rams quarterback and we are a much better team.
All out blitz and watch Dallas toss a naked screen to Felix in the flat and, "see ya."
This has nothing to do with the Cleveland game. Although that should be a starting point for all of us.
Austin comes back and brings speed to the WR's. We have three running backs that can move the chains.
Spencer will be back as well as Newman.
Take heart. This is a magical season just beginning.
Enjoy the ride, people.

Name me the player on their team that is better at his position than his counter part on our team. Starter for starter.
Is McNabb better than Romo - no.
Westbrook - probably better than Barber. But would you trade straight up for Westbrook?
What wide receiver do they have that is better than who we have?
Name the offensive lineman better. Even Proter would start for them.
Is there a player on their team you would trade Witten for? How about a two for one? Witten for Westbrook and Desean Jackson. Would you make that trade?
How about front seven on defense? Nope. They have nice players. Ours are better.
DB's. Maybe the kid that came from the Pats. Maybe.
But player for player, unit for unit, squad for squad, this Cowboy's team is better.
I do not fear them like others. I will not concede they are better until they prove it. Last year was last year.
How many points did they score against us last year in two games? 27.
The second game the NFC East was locked up and Romo had a hurt thumb.
They are going down. Right down to Chinatown.

I know people right here are going to be worried about this game all week.
And yes - I am injecting a little fun here to be certain! I have been one of the most conservative fans to the point of pissing people off right on this board over the past few years b/c i didn't think we were the cat's meow.
Well - the tables have turned Cowboy fans.
We are bad.
Bad to the bone.
Let it be said that there is no team that i despise more than the lowly baby beagles and their neanderthal fanbase. Growing up in South Jersey does that to a person i suppose.
Furthermore, i cannot tolerate McChicken making statements like "we are the class of the NFC East"... (yeah... okay!... lol)
MNF, at OUR house. Beags just coming off a chest thumping of the jv squad... They are feeling their oats no doubt... and i am laughing about it.
I will be back here next Tuesday celebrating with my Silver and Blue brothers in arms.
We will spank them tough... We will win by double digits. Take that to the bank.
I will immediately enjoy 24 hours of Philly 610WIP am Sports radio as i always do after we embarrass them. There's nothing better than the genius Beagle fans making excuses for why they got their pansy arses kicked.

I like our team as well and think if we stay healthy we have a chance to go all the way but I don't under estimate other teams around the league regardless if I like or hate a certain team. In the case of Philly I can't stand them but I'm not blind to the talent they have on their team.

I am from the ride-in-the-back-of-a-station-wagon-while-looking-out-the-back generation and we weren't scared of anything. We'd leave the house in the morning and our folks would say 'Be home when the streetlights come on!' and that was IT. No cel phones so our parents could check on us every second. Independence, self-reliance and courage. Sadly lacking nowadays, I think.
Anyway, I think some of that mindset bleeds over into being a football fan. The wussification of America. *sigh*

Hate him or love him, McNabb, when healthy (which he is), is a very good QB. Westbrook, besides LT, is probably the best ALL AROUND back in the NFL. He can run (inside + outside), catch, block. LJ Smith isn't a bad player either. And though I don't see DeSean Jackson as an every down go to WR, he showed last week he can make plays, both on offense and on ST.
Defensively they still have a very solid secondary. They are solid in their front 4. And Jim Johnson always fields a very good, aggressive defense.
Philly has owned us for the last 10 or so years..that being said, I haven't felt this positively towards our team in a long while. Especially on the OL. We have the best OL we've had since the Super Bowl Days, and that obviously will make a huge difference in countering the aggressive Eagles defense. We looked great picking up any blitzes that Cleveland did throw at us, but they aren't nearly as good at it as Philly.
I will not be surprised if this winds up a very tight contest. Though I am confident that Dallas will pull out the W.

A healthy Mcnabb is just as good as Romo.
Westbrook is better then Barber.
Of course the Cowboys are better at WR, they have T.O./I'll take Kevin Curtis over the rest of their WR's though
Offensive Lineman- Shawn Andrews is one of the best guards in the NFL/ Runyan and Thomas are solid blockers
Witten for Westbrook and DeSean Jackson? What....are you serious?
Yes, Cowboys have a better front 7 on Defense
Eagles have one of the best secondary in the NFL....what exactly are you talking about?
