And they're going to play a Super Bowl up there?

Who'd want to sit in that when you can watch the game in front of a big screen at home and not worry about losing a foot to frostbite?

Screw snowy, windy cold as heck weather.

It sucks to be a fan. I am going to the MNF game against the Bears in 2 weeks. It will be interesting.

But this is football. Not every game has a panty store and purty pictures on the wall.

I'm actually going to that game too. Will be bringing my ski pants and jacket.

Best case scenario it is freezing. Worst case scenario it is freezing and wet.

Where you sitting?

Think I am in 440.

Ditka retirement ceremony is gonna get the yokels in an uproar.

Haha...well Jerry lives in a whole other universe than the rest of us.

I lived in Chicago during my middle school years and I'll just say I never want to to see snow again.

I think, in addition to trying to establish our running game, we need quick passes to Dez, Beasley, Miles, and Harris. Dunbar and Murray on screen type plays would help too. No short passes to the TEs or Williams. Quick, short passes are less affected by the wind and yards can be gained after the catch by those players I mentioned. The defense needs to stop the run, create pressure and turnovers. I'm not optimistic about our D. This is going to be a tough game. I don't think either team has a big advantage over the other.

That is just wonderful on the weather. All I can say is it will be an experience to remember! I'm on a little adventure to start going to see all the stadiums in the NFL and the Chicago stadium is next on my list. I booked the airfare but am waiting to buy the tickets. Probably going to sit somewhere int he 200's though.

have you seen the stubhub prices? I hope you have a hookup, i live here and I dont.

$225 for the 400's. The good news is that Soldier Field is like Wrigley. It is built more up than out and is actually way more compact than the seating chart makes it seem.

Still, the Super Bowl should ALWAYS be in a warm weather city. Granted that back fired with the SB here, but that was just bad luck. It's not about the game anymore. It's about the $$$.

Screw warm weather, the road to the Super Bowl is through icy and frozen nastiness for the most part.

Honestly, I hope the weather for that game is awful, so they never want to have a "cold weather" SB again.
