It sucks to be a fan. I am going to the MNF game against the Bears in 2 weeks. It will be interesting.

But this is football. Not every game has a panty store and purty pictures on the wall.
We will be there too, 4 of us going, this is my first trip to soldier field, a couple of our guys going have been there and they tell me that it isn't that bad weather wise. I don't believe them

One game?.............Dez Bryant ranks 14th in the league in targets. That is NOT acceptable, especially if your are one to believe Dez is a top 5 WR in the league which he is. It is what it is and it ain't pretty. You have to find ways to get him the ball.

I'm hoping they used at least some of the extra time to come up with ways to move Dez around.

It's very clear that the major difference between the AJ Greens and Calvin Johnsons of the league (not talking physical skills here) is that they know all three WR positions, so it is 10x easier to move them around and divise ways to get them open.

Romo circumvented our Dez-limiting scheme at least once last game by just basically grabbing him and moving him into a position he rarely plays. He got open and Tony hit him. It should not be that hard. Unless Dez really is too dumb to learn multiple positions ( and i don't think that's the case) then I currently put this mostly on Garrett/Callahan.

they don't do anything right, or anything left...they are squarely in the middle as their .500 record over 20 years shows....

and, I believe the team that is better at protecting the ball and at special teams (punt returns) will win this game...we are better at both

Harris could be a wild card. The Giants have a real weak link in kick coverage. Howling winds may negate our advantage though.

Tomorrows forecast
Mostly sunny skies with gusty winds. High 31F. Winds NW at 25 to 35 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

I sure hope the run game is effective

Talk about a brutal game to attend, SCREW that! I'm sure come the first week of February it'll be nice and balmy.

I am in far upstate NY, so the weather here is more drastic and severe than it is in the NY/NJ metro area. But I gotta say, what we are experiencing right now is supposed to continue right through tomorrow. It is 25 degrees, and they say winds 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40-50 MPH...but when I just took the pup outside, the winds and the cold were just brutal. Flurries swirling around, brutal winds made it feel very cold. My cocker spaniel pup is named 'Cowboy' and he had no interest in being out in the elements. Lets hope the rest of the Cowboys adjust better tomorrow.

Well I enjoy watching Romo play and the many other good players that have went through the last 10 years. The 500 thing is convenient if your not satisfied and it's easy to remember. These guys were 5-11 three years in a row. You gotta win allota games if you want to make that work out to a 500 average but reminding fans of that is not espn's responsibility. Hopin they don't forget to bring the running game with them tomorrow. With the wind thats being predicted your score sounds bout right.

I love Romo and his style of play...but, I can't tell if his lack of success lately is his fault, the coaches fault, or is he dinged up? .500 is good if you are a fan of the browns (as an example)...I am not satisfied unless I see progress...I was behind JG's 3-year plan, but it has fallen apart half-way through this year. I am on the fence (again, .500) with whether to keep him or not.....

Well nobody want's to hear it but we been feilding an arena team defense for the second half of these last 2 seasons. Shoulda got another year outta Spencer and Ratliff, Brent and Crawford should be in there. There just aint enough DT's sittin around on the couch to replace your starters AND your depth. It's been impressive to me that they still manage to keep so many games close. I don't know if it's because he's a good coach or because of Romo slingin the ball. The 500 part doesn't mean anything to me, the past is the past and Cowboy fans arent any better than Browns fans and they're learning that the hard way.

Steve Dennis on the pregame said the weather is terrible, freezing with about 40 mph winds.

If that's true we had better find a way to run the ball and complete a lot of short balls.
