It’s all relative to where you live. Cold is cold.
freezing cold. I feel like I’m in the North Pole.
Ya, Montana is pretty good at that, around this time of year
* I've been forced to face my Osculating standing fan towards the wall at nite as of late myself, down here in Arizona
Generally, I am a big fan of your posts... often, I find myself chuckling outloud at something you'written.
However, your malicious and mean-spirit reference to using an oscillating fan too keep cool in Arizona (while I still have 2 feet of snow in my front yard), is most unfortunate.
I will mull this over as I am shovelling.
Suppose to be 87 here in Austin on Friday.
Might be a shock when the gals break out their shorts.
It will be pleasant.
* but,it's true Bro!,,, straight up truth,,, er,,, concercerning the covertly concealed coverage of implied humor in 'some' of my posts(,,,er,,, I've had to 'don' a hoody black&white " wild Wolf " print fuzzy warm zipper sweater a few times b-4 deciding to nod off on the couch a couple of times so far this winter season,,,er,,,that, and in conjunction with the redirection of forced fan air flow, mind you
** since I am a truly contented single bachelor man, with ZERO incoming annoyance from a "witch in the kitchen" ,,,well, lemme relay it to you,,,life's former rough grinds ,ain't nothing but week old razor stubble, anymore, er,,, I do recall having been clean shaven of face twice in the last 6 to 8 years tho,,,
...Feb 14 ..another fine day in Corpus...75 deg. 0% Precipitation W 14mph NNE Sunny
gotta love it...Spring is in the air here...almost garden time.
It's a brisk 15 F now and headed to a tropical 25 F high today - with a bit more snow on the way.
Most of my friends and family from Texas assume we buried in snow throughout the winter. Nothing could be further from the truth. Typically, we will have a day or two of snow followed by a week or more of brilliant sunshine. Just this past week the daytime highs were in the mid-40's with lows in the high 20's -- perfect winter weather.
That said, we've had more snow to start this year than I can recall. Most of Colorado is already at 100%+ of annual snowfall with a lot more snow projected for the remainder of Feb and March.
Uncharacteristically, my wife asked yesterday, "so, should we plan a quick trip to Playa del Carmen to warm up?"
The plus side of a month and a half of highs in the single digits or maybe low teens on a good day is, this sunny 25 degree day seems downright balmy.
Days are getting noticeably longer too.
...It's a nice day!...
It's been a crazy warm winter here in the Carolina's.
