Weather where you are

Hot where you are? Texas?

severe storms...tornados possible.
sky very "mean and ugly" here in okc.

Yep, all of the schools closed yesterday, is my day off so went to Cains Chicken to grab some food and they were closed due to "potential" storms. Ditto for a couple of Mexican joints, closed as well. Settled for some brisket out of the grocery store deli. Right now at least for the metro it appears a line of storms may move through later this evening. Looks like right now that the Armageddon forecast was mostly a dud.

I work in Bethany...they sent us home at 2.
heard the Banks closed around 1 or 2.
anniv of May 20th...so far here in NW OKC...just an ugly looking sky...

I live in Southern, Ontario...Sunday, May 19 it was 76° as the day progressed it got cooler. By lunch, summer was over in Canada. Monday, May 20th the furnace is on...the squirrels are gathering nuts and it feels like snow is on the way...at least I got out and enjoyed my half day of summer this year...:omg::huh::angry::thumbdown:

It's 88.5 right now where I am. That's pretty much right on target for this time of year.

But that's with some winds blowing through, too... so maybe it would be hotter than normal without the winds.

I did just hear there are potentially 2 batches of rain coming into the metro area, one around 9 or after and the other around 1am. All of the rain projections for these are at a minimum of 5 inches for the metro, one of the models even had us at around 8 inches. As with anything in Oklahoma take this with a grain of salt{or 3}.

Yesterday (Saturday), I was in Grayling, Michigan and it was 50 degrees and raining at 2 PM.

Right now, (6:30 PM Sunday) I'm 1160 miles away in Mobile, Alabama and its 81 degrees, and sunny with 82% humidity.

Oh... and I didn't fly. I drove it solo in my 12 year old Tacoma...... yep - I'm nuts.

last projection I saw for metro was 9:46pm...sounds like it is now a severe wind/flooding event...tornado risk low...hope that holds.

stay safe.
tornado threat very low but possible.

Rained all morning, very nice this afternoon...suns out and about 59°, which is cool for May here.

Central Florida. 93 degrees. Hot hot hot. People here are requesting a transfer to hell because its cooler.

Thunderstorms this morning...can I send out an amber alert for our missing spring...

It will not stop raining in Boise. My yard is SO long but the weather won't hold out long enough to mow the thing.

Temps are sweet though. Hovering around 70-75 in the day. Still, BRING ME SOME SUN! .
