I just don't see how, if he's honest with himself, that he can't see that he's just not going through his reads fast enough. He is consistently late on his throws other than his checkdowns. That, to me, just means he's not processing things fast enough. How can he look at the tape and not see that? Or maybe he does and he's blaming the receivers? Or thinks he'll get better? I don't know.

This is probably it for his career though. So, I'm sure that plays a part in him being pissed.

about demotion, but "is a pro" so will take it in stride.

Just got that ESPN alert. lol

he is upset because his money train just came to an end. He will probably be without a NFL job next near.

He should be but then again, I think Garrett gave him every chance in the world. After the last game, after missing on the Redzone attempts 6 times and just flat sailing the last pass to a wide open Williams, they showed Garrett and the look on his face pretty much told the story I thought. I knew then, as I'm sure many others did, that Weedon had opened the door for Cassel and it was really only a question of how ready Cassel was to become the starter. JMO

Sorry. It's like giving a horse several chances to be secretariat.

Cassell was going to start the millisecond the trade paperwork hit the fax machines at the league office.

I think any player would be upset
But he got every chance to prove himself and couldn't do it

After WeeDone's whiny bad luck whoa is me crap, I really do not care if he is pissed. He made his bed with that comment. I probably would have cut him on the spot if I were the HC.

Weeden's plan was to cash in on one more big contract and hold a clipboard next season somewhere.

That plan is gone, so of course he's upset.
