Maybe the bosses should have watched this before the experiment. Maybe this is the reason why he didn't throw it down the field much. Bad things happen.

I'm sure there's a similar one for the guy who couldn't beat out Tyrod Taylor.

Why is Tyrod Taylor considered a bad QB? It's not like he has been stinking it up.

I would take Tyrod Taylor or EJ Manuel over pretty much any backup QB in the NFL based on potential alone. I respect Ryan for actually having a legitimate competition instead of just handing it over to someone because of experience alone.

Tyrod Taylor has been in the league for 4 years and you've probably never heard of him until this season. He is a backup, at best.

Funny how this guy mentions Cassel didn't beat out Tyrod Taylor and doesn't mention he beat out Teddy Bridgewater last year. Agenda is obvious.

Didn't they attribute almost every nob-start by Bridgewater to injury? I don't think Cassel best out Bridgewater as much as he was just handed the reins ahead of a very inexperienced kid.

I stand corrected, he got the start via injury and never looked back. Still hard to say he earned it, as Bridgewater looked better almost immediately upon starting.

Just kinda beating a dead horse at this point.

Unless something horrendous happens you won't see him take another snap as a Dallas Cowboy.

Hmmm...

Same thing could've been said about our starter when he first took over the team. Fact is, Taylor has done nothing bad enough to justify that comment. If he stunk, you would have a point but from what I have seen, he has been solid and has been putting up Pro Bowl caliber numbers.

Yes, he beat out a late round rookie QB. Then he got hurt, went on IR, and they cut bait. Just like KC. Just like Buffalo.

Exactly, he actually has 3 more tds and the same ints as Matt Ryan, which isnt bad considering he is missing his star rb and wr.

I don't feel bad for Weeden at all. He's collected a paycheck to be a backup and not do any real work. If anything he's been really lucky and blessed to still have a job. With that said, I don't blame our losses on Weeden, only the Pats and Arizona game were on him.

Man, you make Weeden move at all and it's an INT waiting to happen. His accuracy just completely goes in the toilet as soon as he has to move off his spot.

Yes, he is terrible but a compilation of any QBs Ints is going to look bad.

He is bad enough, they don't need to include the Center snapping it over his head.

I could understand if he had to play last year and sucked; however, it seems that after having him around for a year that the Cowboys would figure out that he was not going to get better.

I think they wasted considerable time on both he and Dustin Vaughan and it came back to bite them.

Hard.
