I think this guy is a former first round pick for a reason. He has a better arm than Romo, really can make the throws.Tony Romo looked old like Peyton Manning is these days.I always wondered why Dallas kept Romo but yet rest of team got younger.Really it might be a changing of the guard.Weeden and our offense is the best in the NFC East. The other teams in the NFC East are so bad this year.Don't give up here we may still be a jugernaut later in the end of season.

Long term it is better for the Cowboys let Weeden play and see what he can do.Everybody says we need to draft a QB, guys this guys is a first rounder, higher than we usually get to pick.He might yet be the steal of the year. Our front office needs more credit, they really get it.Where are the Murray folks today he looked old today too.

It is gonna be ok.At the end of the day it is only a game.Last year my father in law was alive the Cowboys were 1-15.Didn't matter I enjoyed every minute I had with him.Remember to hug your loved ones life is short. And Weeden might be the next Romo you never know.

I wanted to add preseason means zero everybody thought Eagles were the next great thing and look now.And who thought we would be 2-0 with no Dez and no Romo.Folsk Dallas has a synergy here that will survive all of this.

The problem with Weeden (which is the same issue with a lot of QBs) is that he is a poor decision maker under pressure. When he knows where he is going with the ball, he can throw a dart like the one to Williams. When he has to progress through his reads with defenders closing in on him, he either throws the ball poorly or makes a bad choice.

Romo talked about the ability to process information quickly being what separates great QBs from good ones. What we saw last season against Arizona and in the preseason is that Weeden doesn't have that ability. Given time, he can figure it out, but under duress, he's a mistake waiting to happen.

His success is going to depend on how simple Dallas can keep his reads and how much pressure the opponent can put on him.

1st - Romo didnt look old at all.

2nd - Weedon did all anyone could expect from him yesterday - 7 for 7 with a 42yd TD pass to T Will to seal the game. He has the potential to play well. Hoping that yestarday was a good confidence builder to get started.

If we can get Romo back and the rest of the boys around 5-4 i'll be happy and we'll be fine. Thinking we could potentially do better.

I get your point, but he has started one game and played meaningful snaps in two others...kind of hard to draw conclusions from that. I don't know what he's going to be. I don't have high expectations, but I'm not throwing in the towel, either.

Where have I heard this before?

Oh yeah, last year after he looked decent in relief against Washington. Then he stunk it up the next week.
