All of us are basically praying he can go 3-4. You know who thinks he go 7-0? That team. Jason Garrett has them convinced in one play at a time, do your job, fight through adversity, etc. Maybe Weeden goes 0-7, but this team is planning on winning each game, and the coaches will prepare them to do just that. Weeden has had the benefit of practicing with the first team every week on Wed since last year, so it's not like he's going to be in unfamiliar territory.
Last year's lone start does give pause, but they were also missing Ron Leary, and Patrick Peterson OWNED Dez that day, and yet Weeden kept forcing it to Dez. Hopefully he takes a more democratic approach for the next 8 weeks and takes what the defense will give him. Hopefully he gets better OL and run support than he did last year (he got decent run support yesterday, and were it not for penalties and an Escobar fumble, he might have lead them to even more points). I am cautiously optimistic Weeden can manage the games and get some wins. I reserve the right to change my mind this time next week.
