I hope you're right. It would be so much better with Dez at his disposal, though. The good thing is that he might have a rapport with guys like Street and Whitehead since they're second string (not sure that he does). That throw to T-Will gives me hope. A win against Atlanta would go a long way toward Weeden's confidence.

Until we play a team with a serious pass rush...

i truly believe this. All he has to do is drive the bus and keep our D off the field. Our D is legit, and we now have this luxury at our expense.

Our philosophy is still run first. Romo was coached last year to take what the defense gave him. Weeden will do,the same.

More like you "hope" this to be true. He has not proven to be worth much.

I don't think Weeden is as bad as people make him out to be. I think our success at this point really rests on establishing a running game. Romo threw too many times the first 1.5 games this season and we hadn't established a running game like we had last year. Our O-line also hasn't been in sync. Fortunately our defense has been lights out and it'll only get better with Hardy and Gregory added. We really need to get a traditional running game going. People didn't complain last week because we still managed to get the ball in RBs' hands, but I don't want to see any more of that. We need a 50/50 pass/run balance. We can win some games with some gritty old school football.

I have zero confidence in Weeden, we can only hope they find a running game and the defense continues to ball out!

Weeden is not a good QB. He does not know where to go with the ball and is very slow on his progressions. He can throw a slant or dig to his primary receiver, but QBs that cannot quickly move off their primary receiver cannot move an offense consistently. For my money, I'd rather start Moore. I don't care about his spaghetti arm behind this line (today notwithstanding). He will throw to the right receiver, on time, and with enough anticipation to complete the pass (even if not a lot of zip).

If we win it will be inspite of Weeden.
I can hear the coaches now.

Oline RB WR and TEs
Defense
Special Teams

We need to band together now, we know we have to make up for having Weeden as our starting QB so all of you have to do it.

OK, Bring Weeden in... Weeden we have complete faith in you.

That doesn't make any sense, bruh. Do Ginger quarterbacks make pass rushers less tired as the game goes on ?

Did you watch the game? The eaglets defense was exhausted towards the end of the game because their offense kept stalling out...
