I chose the Cowboys because while we have a rookie QB, the team has a vastly different mentality with this backup QB than it did last year. The Cowboys have a TON of offensive weaponry and while the D-line is questionable, they know how to get into Eli's and Beckham's heads.

I never do predictions because of superstition but screw it, my superstitions haven't done anything for this team!

45-24 Dallas. We get up big early like we have all PS when Dak starts. Maybe Sanchez gets a chance to do a kneel down even!

The presnap penalties should go way down due to the fact Dak will just play and not let time go down to 1 second every play.
I want what he's having! In all seriousness though I'm in agreement. I think Dallas coaches shock the football world and allow Dak to play uninhibited. The Giants D will struggle to contain Zeke and will get burnt time and time again in the pass game while stacking against the run. If TWill makes his catches 45 is a legit possibility, if he has the dropsies I'd drop my prediction to 35.

I'm gonna say Cowboys by 10. I want a 20+ point blowout but doubt it will happen being a division game.

Giants -24
Cowboys - 20

I can really see it going either way, but will give the slight edge to the veteran QB.
I expect Zeke and DaK to ball out, and I expect our defense to not. Giants in a close shootout.

Beckham did nothing to us the first game. he took one big hit from Wilcox and finished with 45 yards. Just saying. It was last season.

He is definitely one of the most dangerous receivers in the game. I would say top 3. I dont think we can expect hiim to go 45 yards against us every time.

The Over/Under is 46.5 points. That seems low to me. The Cowboys-Giants games are usually shootouts.

Here's something to keep an eye on. The Giants have lost their last 5 opening day games in a row.

I'll say Cowboys 31-30.

Giants....I see no way for a rookie QB and rookie RB to defeat Eli and NY, especially with a turd defense.

I picked Dallas but my gut tells me the Giants have the advantage. Better defense, better receiving core and established qb. Their weakness (oline) is our weakness( dline) so it's a wash.

My hope is that they fail to cover Witten like they always do and get beat.

Dak was playing in a limited offense in the preseason & put up stellar numbers.

The coaches will take the training wheels off for this game and we'll see our starters play for the entire 4 quarters. Barring injury, we win this game going away in the 4th by over 20. They're simply not going to be able to keep up with us offensively.

The Seahawk's D scared me a lot more than the Giant's does, and Dak handled that fine.

I'm going with my heart and picking the Cowboys. Don't let me down.

I hope it's a blowout. Tired of watching the mediots pick the Giants to win the NFC East.

Whatever the outcome we know that there will be one " fluke play"... e.g. ball bounces off Wittens ankle etc. Des skys to a miracle back of end zone catch but pinky hits line - NO TD.....

We'd better get some kind of pass rush against Eli. We can't let him play catch with his WRs all day. If we don't it'll be a long day.

Giants win at the last second.
Dak and Elliot put up great numbers but the defense ultimately craps on the offense master piece.

Lets hope this isn't the normal Giants/Cowboys game where a fluke play or D letdown allows them to score cheap before halftime points, or as you point out a game ender
