It's been a few years since I posted here. I posted during the 2012 season opener.
As a Niner fan, we've had our wars from back in the day, but I've respected the Cowboy franchise and fanbase through the rough battles. The Johnson/Switzer Cowboys were very talented and well coached that was as formidable an adversary as I've seen.
I have no beef with the Dallas Cowboys. I don't actively root against them like I do certain teams or take pleasure when they struggle or lose. I like guys like Romo, Bryant, Witten, Lee, the OL, Elliot, Claiborne, and ex players like Ware and Murray.
Now the NY Giants and their fans can go f***** themselves. Such an entitled, arrogant fanbase that loves to talk smack about the league in general, and has an unhealthy hatred for the 49ers. They act like they were the Buffalo Bills in those 4 SB losses, when in fact they've gotten really lucky in 2 NFC Championship games won by fortunate fumbles.
They never were a dynasty, never will be. I hate that team so much just because of their idiot fans. It's like the 1980s in ground hog day fashion for those guys.
I actively root against them every game, and I enjoy that the last few season openers I can count on them losing one way or another. I of course hate the Seahawks for obvious reasons, but after their relevance times out in a few years, I can go back to focusing on the Giants full time.
Also find it hilarious that the Cowboys sorta have the Seahawks number all of a sudden. I can tell it bothers those 12s a lot. Going up against a backup QB, the Hawks barely could win in Dallas last year.
Anyways, with that out of the way......good luck in the opener. Prescott looks pretty good.....who knows what will happen this weekend, but if that Siemian cat could manage to win the other day against a real defense, Prescott probably should be fine. Some power run, and have the defense play adequately and the Cowboys should be in good shape.
I'll see you guys in a few weeks. Stay healthy this year.
ps - That NFL Network Timeline on our rivalry was a great show. Eventually a new chapter will be added.
