Week 1 Pressure Leaders

More excited to see Kneeland up there than the other two. Him panning out quickly would be a major boost to this pass rush. It can't rely solely on Micah and Lawrence.

Glad to see so many Cowboy players on top.

OT, glad to see Hendrickson still doing well. Always root for the smaller college players doing well. Local to me(FAU)
Same here. I’ve always hated the stigma that players from smaller schools can’t make it in the NFL. Talent is talent, no matter where you come from.

If this team starts talking about how "we lead the league in pressures" we know ...

1) This team is reading its own press clippings
2) A massive dropoff is about to occur.

We better stop the run...we still need to prove we can do that first.
You do realize the players know the stats before the media right? They got people on the staff for those reasons.

I'm torn on the pressures topic!

You can run towards a player and it be a pressure, and the QB makes a DYNAMIC pass play or takes off running like it happened a few times in Sunday's game

Or, you PRESSURE the QB to where it actually affects his throwing motion, and the play being an incomplete pass or a turnover/sack if we're lucky!!
Well, not getting pressure means the QB can stand back there all day until coverage eventually breaks down. It's better to force a QB into bad decisions/throws instead of hoping he will just on his own.

Dlaw just out there playing well, like always. He's not the flashiest but he's a damn good player who cam do it all and is consistently very good. One of our more under appreciated players in awhile.

Cool to see he wasnt “tired” out there on Sunday…

especially with sam williams injury (and general unreliability)

agree but you're going after the QB you're on him, but you miss him, what good is that then he takes off for yards or makes a completion

Fingers crossed this continues when they play opposite an NFL OL.
Yeah that's kind of been exaggerated too. Not saying it didn't matter but the guys they had weren't as bad as made out to be. I'm not that familiar but one of them started most last year, supposedly. I dunno, just going off what I've read here.

best de duo we've had round the ranch since too tall/big harvey.

best de duo in the league.

keep huntin'...go☆cowboys.
