For folks who enjoy warmer climates,
At these temperatures a person starts to lose feeling in the extremities almost immediately...It starts in the hands and feet. You quickly become accustomed to operating without feeling your fingers and toes. The nerve endings go numb, muscles start to stiffen, and skin turns very pale. Exposed skin begins to freeze within minutes. Without proper protection, in the wind you can lose consciousness within fifteen minutes. Cold like that is just penetrating...Even dressed for the occasion in layers of clothing on top of a thick jacket, if you aren't constantly moving you are driven back inside because of the discomfort.
It's hard enough to survive, let alone play a game of football.
However, it's also a frickin' beautiful thing!!!
