For my money and for the best chance for this team to win in the playoffs, I am resting my horses next week. I think the rest is more important than the game or the long shot seeding.

Romo, Murray, Free, and Martin take the week off. You earned it and are more important to this team so get well and healthy for this run.

I believe Rolo Mac needs some rest as does maybe Crawford, Church and Mincey.

Yeah, in a nutshell, rest as many key guys as possible. The game means nothing to anyone other than delusional Commanders fans and Cowboys fans that live in areas with delusional Commanders fans.

The only scenario where a win at WASH means anything is if GB-Det tie. That is so unlikely we need to treat this weekend like a bye.

It will be good for Weeden to build off that nice TD pass to Williams - hopefully we won't need him in the playoffs but you never know. Give him 2-3 quarters of work then let Vaughn finish.

It's not just the rest, it is keeping your guys from getting a needless injury. We should rest them.

I think Free may be out for the season or at least until deep into the playoffs.

With the odds of Dallas getting a 1st round bye almost non existent, why not give yourself a "pseudo-bye" by resting some of the guys that quite honestly could use the time off to heal and rest? With Romo still in the game up 35 and scrambling down field, I have my doubts that it will happen.

We can get the second seed only if the Seahawks and Cards lose, regardless of what we do against the Commanders.

No brainer. Rest the horses.

We only get the bye if both Seattle and Arizona lose. Our outcome means nothing.

I really hope Garrett and company consider this. I think rest would help us way more than anything else.

Seems everyone is finally coming around to understanding this. What would rock is if we sit our starters and still beat the Skins. :)

Rest starters. Give Dustin some play. Heck i would Try wilbur at DE most of the game and see how he plays.

I would also give Boatright (DE) a chance to get some game reps. See if we have any reserves that can rush the passer.

Last thing i want is Haslett injuring Tony with the all out blitzes. Although we play before GB and Det, it's unlikely they'll tie.

These guys are not gonna be happy about sitting out. Have you seen their attitudes these past couple of weeks? It will suck to possibly get swept by Wash. It would suck worse for Romo to be taken out by a vindictive Jim Haslett. Hope Garrett can get them to take the week off without losing their mojo.

I am tempted to treat this like a preseason game to keep these guys sharp. Let them play a half....rest guys who absolutely need it, but that is it...
