Most announcers come into a game with those scripts.

It is part of what the network does to push the story.

Heck they even do it in college football.

If a player is doing good or bad prior to the game they talk about that during the game even if that player is doing just the opposite.

It is not just the cowboys.

I hear it during steelers games and the announcers are going on and on about the struggles of Big Ben. The other team will be on offense and they are still talking about Ben.

Look at what was going on with Reggie Bush. How many times have there been subpar games by him yet the announcers are signing his praises during the game before he has done anything? You would think people/announcers forgot that the saints have another pretty decent RB coming off of an injury.

It just goes with the territory sometimes.

It doesn't mean he didn't do a lousy job yesterday. He did.

I have NEVER wanted to shut off the sound on my TV set during an Aikman game.

Yesterday was a close call.

Dallas, Romo dominated that game truly what else could he say! You know it had to burn his butt to see #9 Tony Romo on the ring of honor.

He could say he hates the cowboys and romo, since he is clearly so bias against the boys.

I mean if they play a game where they don't light it up, like last night, do you expect him to say GREAT things about him?

Ever notice when the boys are playing lights out he gives kudos, but if they are playing so so or bad he comments on the play.

Hmmm...might be a reason.

The point of the main thread, and many other threads, is that Aikman is bias against the cowboys or loves the other team....not whether he does a good job or not.

Yeah I posted a similar thread yesterday, then I got kinda blasted.

But Aikman is kinda dull and he does seem to be anti-cowboys. It's always the other team screwed up and not that the Cowboys made a good play. That kinda thing.:bang2:

I don't believe he is always anti-Cowboys. All I said is that YESTERDAY, he ALMOST seemed to rooting for the Giants. Last week I felt he did a very good job of keeping things balanced.

I have a guy at work who talks like Yogi...and I cannot for the life of me NOT mimic him. It wasn't so bad before I owned the place.

People expect more of me now.

They're going to be very disappointed.

Have you, or others, ever considered that when the cowboys are playing great and he comments on it you see it as being balanced, but if the cowboys are playing so so or bad and he comments on it you, and others, see it as not being balanced.

Could it just be that he is not praising the cowboys for playing so so at the time and not really being bias and seeing as how we, as fans, get wired up in games don't want to hear anything that is not rosey.

Just something to consider.

A note to all of those who might be offended by my stance on this topic. I do not mean to offend you. I am tired of these threads. I've asked repeatedly for proof of Aikman's bias, and no one ever has any. If that offends you, you can shut me the hell up by simply posting proof his bias exists.

Oh, and if any of you who believe this nonsense ever criticize the Cowboys in any way, you're 2 faced hypocrites.
