Weekly Aikman is Biased Thread *merged*

Is it just me, or did Troy Aikman seem to be almost rooting for the Pints? I was getting so aggrivated at him that I yelled at him to shut up...haha. Seriously, though, I know he tries not to pull for the Cowboys, but he went WAY too far the other way.

I did not hear that as much.

But, to me, as a Cowboys fan who has heard all the angles to the 'Boys/Giants the prior 10 days, it was aggravating to hear those dorks rehash every aspect of Shockey, Coughlin, Eli Mae, Strahan, Gramatica, Vandy, Romo.

I am promising myself that, next game, I will rev up the old radio and listen to real experts instead of those shallow, supposed pretty boys in the TV booth.:

I said his commentary sucked because he came into the game with a planned script and didnt let the game dictate the story line.

Manning this...Manning that...the Giants in disarray...ENOUGH already.

He was like the Caliendo impersonation of Madden talking about Favre.

He was WAY too one dimensional yesterday. And I LIKE his color commentary. Always have.

But that's the title of the thread and some agree with that lace panties crap.

That's what I am objecting to. I could give a crap about if he was good or not. Show me the pro-Giants, anti-Cowboys tone of his commentary.

I don't believe it exists and I don't believe any man alive can prove that I am wrong.

Yeah I posted a similar thread yesterday, then I got kinda blasted.

But Aikman is kinda dull and he does seem to be anti-cowboys. It's always the other team screwed up and not that the Cowboys made a good play. That kinda thing.:bang2:

Exactly. It was almost as if this script was pushed on to him by the powers at be. I don't believe Aikman is at all biased against the 'Boys - I think he's certainly a little more critical like a parent who knows their children can do better - but I believe yesterday he was even beyond himself.

BTW, there was a better script written yesterday than the supposed "Eli turns his play around and leads the turmoiled Giants to victory against a strong division opponent."

And that happened to be "Romo once again puts the 'Boys back in position to win, while newly signed FG kicker wins game for team after coach cuts the previous one for lack of clutch winning kick capability."

Well, at least for Cowboys fans.

You are exactly right. Aikman is trying so hard ro look objective that he says many things that are in fact anti-Cowboys. And have you noticed how many times he inserts the word "what" in the middle of a sentnce where it makes no sense at all.

Yeah me too...I posted the first thread about Aikman being too careful of not saying anything positive about the Cowboys so he is not labled as a biased announcer. My thread was taken off the board 2 minutes after it was posted, I am surprised this one is not..
