Did Matt Cassell go to the university of Maryland?

That was an OT miracle where Haslett performed his wizardary on Romo until he was knocked out of the game.

As I stated, that is the nature of the rivalry. Logically the Commanders should win easy considering the state of the Cowboys today.

In the context of the rivalry, nothing is ever a sure thing (did you even read what I wrote?)

What???.....I presented you with facts as to why your statement of an easy is ridiculous, I also pointed out Matt Cassel can win this game just as a year ago Colt McCoy won in Dallas. Question is did you read my posts?...I'm gonna guest and say no.

Didn't you guys get your butt handed to you by the panthers also? The Commanders are 5-6 not 11-0, the Commanders are in no way dominant at all just another bad team in the East. Commanders in fact have a weak secondary this game is a toss up really. Yes we have Cassel, and you guys have cousins.. Lol

Cousins kind of reminds me of Mark Rypien (sp?).

Jay Gruden noted developer of great qb's.

Dan Snyder still owns your team, the only guy worse than Jerry, so technically you still are in a much worse "hell"

Only in the 2015 NFC East could a fan from an awful 5-6 team, that was pistol whipped worse than the Cowboys were by Carolina, and who might, might get a 1 and done playoff game come in here and try and talk smack. Pathetic, like the POS team you root for.

I don't think you have the ability to comprehend what I have been stating.

But yes, logically the Commanders are a better team, an even better team at home, and should have no trouble dispatching a Matt Cassel led Cowboys team with a host of injuries and problems (hell, just read the front page of this forum. You guys do a good enough job stating it)

Logic never applies in this rivalry. Which is why a Colt McCoy '14 MNF game happens.

Off topic, but I hope we get blown out these last 5 weeks. A lot of people are in agreement that they hope we lose the last 5 to secure a high draft pick. But I'm saying I hope we get blown out, because Jerry is far too un-mad about the state of conditions right now that I couldn't see him making any drastic changes unless we get humiliated these last 5 games. So here here to losing 50-0 each of these last 5 weeks.

Cousins kind of reminds me of Mark Rypien (sp?).

Big difference is in size. Mark was not nearly as slight as Kirk. Plus, Mark could fit a McDonalds straw between his teeth without touching. He and Strahan have a certain gap in common...

Hard to compare a QB today to one from 25 years ago.

Ryp had a great deep ball. And that was about it. The team around him in 1991 was one of the best ever, making his job that much easier.

I was speaking to an usher about it at Jerryworld yesterday. Nobody can guarantee in any sense the Cowboys are 8-3 with Romo. Seeing how the team until '14 had been mediocre during Romo's prime years, there is no guarantee of anything.

Really, the biggest loss the Cowboys had was Callahan. Has been a big help up in DC.

I get a chuckle when Cowboy fans mention Superbowl 17 and 22. In one year the Commanders ran over the Cowboys in the NFC title game to reach the Superbowl, in the other a Commanders team full of scabs beat a Cowboys team with its regulars on MNF. There are about a dozen other things I'd use in this rivalry trash talk then "strike season Superbowls" if I am a Cowboys fan.

Even if Cowboys were 6-5 you guys would still be calling for their heads.
It's you and your owners MO.

Cousins a future journeyman QB. Unless they start playing 16 home games every year lol

49ers and steelers are on our level.

Commanders not so much.

Amusing post though.

You should worry. You're merely the tallest midget in a division that would have been long decided if Romo was healthy this season.

Meanwhile, you're about to dump huge money on Cousins.

Worry.

I'm not seeing this logic. the Commanders are a bad team and bad teams don't get many easy wins.

The Cowboys are a terrible team. The last terrible team the Commanders played lost 47-14, 3 weeks ago.

"Easy" and "handily" seem to be pain points in this thread to some overly sensitive people. I get it, as Barb told me at AT&T Stadium yesterday its been a tough year. But she could even smile a bit.

How about I define it as a 10 point win where the game is decided prior to the last possession. Not a 35 point blowout.

Well when you present FACTS as I did then maybe what you are stating would be comprehensible, because what you have stated has not been. Outside of your QB is 'Matt Cassel' and we have injuries. Well guess what its week 12, everyone has injuries...you can have that little fact for free no charge. This is a divsion game, there will not be any "easy" wins.

I fail to understand why fans (of Cowboys and other teams) and the media are so quick to bury Romo. We've heard this story before, it's tired and lame. Going in to last year everyone said that Romo's 2 back surgeries were the beginning of his end. Then he came back to have arguably his best season in 2014. This year he broke his clavicle, then rebroke it coming back too early. His clavicle will heal up over the offseason and he'll come back from that injury like he did earlier in his career.

We hear this after every season, same story different injuries, same Romo year after year. Romo will be fine next year, everyone is trying to bury him now. Just like when he had the back surgery, the rib injury, the collapsed lung. It's wishful thinking right now to think the Romo Era is coming to an end. He'll be around a little while longer.

As far as the game this weekend, the Commanders will probably win because Dallas is playing Cassell, Garret is still the coach, the defense has a bend and then break philosophy, defense does not get any turnovers and the Commanders are a hotter team right now.

Enjoy the win cuz next year Dallas will be back, also thanks for beating the Giants, that was sweet

Kap type contract that is easy to jettison. I am not worried about the money Kirk is going to get.

I never understand Cowboy fans who cheer for other DC teams. Still doesn't compute for me.

You're forgetting the saints have the worse defense in the league.. Eli had 6 tds against them then mariota dropped 4 on them also. Your forgetting you guys got destroyed by the panthers the following week, Newton had a career day
