The Commanders will always suck and I must say you have to suck supporting them, but hey I'm sure you all think the same level of us being Dallas fans. You seem like an okay person to join a Cowboys forum rather it be to troll or jump to the better franchise. Either way I will say I'm glad you got your bubble burst by rg3 being a bust, however sorry team for him to play on and wrong scheme.
I despise everyone in the division other than my beloved Cowboys. If Dallas can't win it I'd rather root for a deadskin to rip Eli's head off and **** down Chip Kelly's chest.

I was speaking to an usher about it at Jerryworld yesterday. Nobody can guarantee in any sense the Cowboys are 8-3 with Romo. Seeing how the team until '14 had been mediocre during Romo's prime years, there is no guarantee of anything.

Really, the biggest loss the Cowboys had was Callahan. Has been a big help up in DC.

I get a chuckle when Cowboy fans mention Superbowl 17 and 22. In one year the Commanders ran over the Cowboys in the NFC title game to reach the Superbowl, in the other a Commanders team full of scabs beat a Cowboys team with its regulars on MNF. There are about a dozen other things I'd use in this rivalry trash talk then "strike season Superbowls" if I am a Cowboys fan.

Seeing how we have 5, thats FIVE, full season Lombardi's compared to 1, that would be ONE full season Lombardi for the Foreskins, I think it plays just fine.

Ill take the FIVE legit non asterisk Lombardis to your ONE. You can have the scab win for your bragging rights, and Ill take the Cowboys 65 wins in the series to your 43. And Ill take our 21 division titles to your 8. And Ill take our 8 Super Bowl Appearances to your 5. You can have everything else to brag about.

I just hope your team will play nice when the teams play. Your team has the chance to put a nail in the coffin for the Cowboys. But...is your team ready to do that? The Cowboys are in a bad place right now. I am one of us fans that think the Cowboys will not win the East.

However, what I am waiting for... is for the Cowboys to ruin some team, either the Giants or your team. The eagles? I have to love them....lol

Pretty much how I feel. I dislike the Eagles and Giants more now. The Commanders are just pitiful so I hope they win by default.

Mark Brunnell. Jason Campbell. Todd Collins. Jason Campbell. Donovan McNabb. Rex Grossman. John Beck. Robert Griffin. Kirk Cousins. Colt McCoy. Kirk Cousins.

Off the top of my head all of those guys have started at QB for the Washington Commanders since Tony Romo took the reigns in Dallas on a steamy fall night against the Giants in '06.

No coincidence, besides the 2012 year (where Griffin out performed Romo, in part due to an NFL not ready for the read option) the Cowboys have had the better record since '06 (notable exceptions '10 when both teams were 6-10 and '12)

That is the definition of NFL hell. Now perhaps Cousins proves to be the answer (I for one don't think he is going to be a super elite star, but could top out at an Andy Dalton like level in a year or 2), however for this season at least the Commanders QB situation has been better, giving a 2 game cushion and something to play for in December.

Are you on the cusp of the post Romo era? Probably sooner then Jerry Jones imagines. Does a top 5 pick guarantee Goff or Lynch? Probably not. Does drafting them guarantee a future successor who is any good?

Maybe. But seeing that Jason Garret will be the HC in Dallas for at least the next 3 years, as there is no way Jerry Jones swallows his ego and fires him before then, and his utter lack of developing any QB since '07, or maximizing Romo's ability, odds are one of those 2 guys will fail to reach their ceiling in Dallas. And as I can attest to, it is damn hard to win without that guy. This decade alone has brought false messiah's to the NFL and pre-injury we saw how much Andrew Luck was struggling this year.

Best of luck in the future QB hunt. Until then, welcome to NFL hell.

As for this Monday night, I am worried as all sorts. Logically the Commanders should win, and should win easy. The team has played significantly better at home and is right now the better team (and since the Griffin decision in August, the better org)

The Cowboys without Romo are a shell of themselves.

However this rivalry doesn't work that way. In fact, I would feel much more comfortable if you guys were good and playing for first place rather then figuring out how to get into the top 2 of the draft. These are the games in the rivalry where the team that isn't any good finds a way to win (Commanders in Dallas last year, Cowboys from 2000-2002, Commanders '95, Cowboys '89)

The Commanders need this game more then the Cowboys do. In fact, the Cowboys losing probably helps the future of the team. Which is why I'd bet on the Cowboys getting the W.

One final note: Got a tour of Jerryworld while in Dallas over Thanksgiving. Have to give credit to Jerry and the Cowboys org. First class tour, first class people running the place and they gave me some good friendly ribbing for wearing a Commanders sweatshirt. I really enjoyed the tour and experience and have to give a huge thumbs up to the Cowboys organization

I don't think you understand how paragraph breaks work.

Other than that, tl;dr, once I realized this was from a Skins fan. That's like a Crimean commenting on Democracy.

This game is similar to Auburn/Alabama, TX/OU. Throw out the records as it doesn't matter. OU looks unstoppable right now and TX manhandled them.

Same with this rivalry. We made Colt McCoy look like a stud at home. I still don't see us winning however.

Maybe Cassel can become like Colt McCoy.

My biggest question is why do people from opposing teams want to post on our board? I would rather listen to my grand mom talk about life in the 40s then go to another board

If dallas had Romo they would easily be 9-2 and going to the playoffs. But it would really matter. They wouldn't win the superbowl. This team just isn't that good this year.

The Cowboys are a terrible team. The last terrible team the Commanders played lost 47-14, 3 weeks ago.

"Easy" and "handily" seem to be pain points in this thread to some overly sensitive people. I get it, as Barb told me at AT&T Stadium yesterday its been a tough year. But she could even smile a bit.

How about I define it as a 10 point win where the game is decided prior to the last possession. Not a 35 point blowout.

wow, you are delusional.

even with all our injuries, this game is a coin toss. the skins suck. bad.

We talking about the Commanders are awful, while Garrett is saying we still got a chance at the playoffs...

Acting like we would have been 9-2 with Romo is optimistic as hell. We probably would be 7-4 max. We didn't look legit in the first two games either. The Giants took us to the edge and they were playing their absolute worst at that time.

If it wasnt for KJJ's favorite clutch player we would have lost game 1

And the Commanders don't suck. They are average and sometimes play pretty good. They've shown improvement throughout the season, as well as from last year, while we are on the path of deterioration.

They also have a ton of injuries, there starting center for example is out, but apparently we get a bunch of excuses for Garrett because of injuries. Last game, they had 8 starters out.

I live in DC and watch them. They tend to lose when Cousins is off and throws absurd picks. When he controls himself, they win.

And their offensive coaching is a hell of a lot better than the trash Garrett puts our. Romo in that system would be putting up much better numbers than in this system. They move the pocket plenty and attack the seams and throw a lot of short, quick passes.

It's a sad day when Jay Gruden is a better coach than Garrett. BTW, he runs a committee via play calling. He's not threatened like the cry-baby Garrett is.

Dallas, if they were looking for up and coming young coach, should take a hard look at the Commanders OC... He runs more mis-direction in one game, than Garrett's run in his whole career..

I cant imagine Jerry canning Red for at least 2 more years. He's gotta give it time to cash in those dividends from Garrett's first 5 years gaining all that valuable experience.
