MM should have had control of the offense from day one. But no, Jerry forced KM on him.
That was at the start of the covind epidemic and even learning his team was very tough.

All this from a guy who's only responsibility for 2 seasons was getting penalties under control and failed.
I like his chances.

What are you hoping for from a B- coach and a tier 3-4 QB?
Keep posting those 10-paragraph posts even though most of us are wishing you get writer's block as pretty much no one reads them due to their length.
My eyes are fine 20/20 hope MM and Dak are the same.
Stay around during the season as I have a feeling you're gonna have a lot of work on your hands trying to excuse the inexcusable!!!!
Dak Prescott is in the top 10 respected in the NFL'

If one can't follow more than an Ah ****...don't post.

McCarthy has a Lombardi of his own, for starts...I forget that attention span is two words here.

He has over 16 years as a head coach/Offensive Coordinator at winning levels...but here, you suggest don't explain any reasons why...

You have a great discussion going on with the starting - Ah ****.

This could be a make or break season for McCarthy. With him taking on playcalling duties, and the team making progress the last two seasons, any step back this season will likely get him fired. Missing the playoffs or a one and done in the playoffs will almost certainly get him fired.

Just be here during the season as you do pull a Houdini often.
And make sure you've studied your new excuses for the upcoming season.
P.S. I can follow but I care not to........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Every season is a new beginning. I enjoy watching it play out and make my decisions at the end of the year. Not that it matters lol.

I don’t know if this is a true statement. I had to coach should be able to override anything. But it’s hard during a game when you haven’t prepared yourself to call the game you would think that they worked together on the game scenario

Or, one could say that MM chose to join a team with an established OC who had created one of the top offenses in the NFL.

A top offense that has consistently sucked against good defenses. I guess that's fine if you value regular season success more than post season success.

4th year of a 5 year deal.

No extension talks yet?

Odds are he is fired after the season.

The team looks to be a little better this year, so I'm not sure how much credit for any potential improvement should go to MM. We'll see.

The offense is better at WR, but no significant improvement elsewhere.

The already good defense should be exceptional.

I'll believe the play calling has improved when I see it.
I think there is a big disconnect between Schottenheimer (airCor) and Big Mike (WestC)

At least they finally fired Philbin.

Mike McCarthy has the thankless job of trying to win it all with a qb who absolutely sucks at operating from under center.

He signed on for just that job...contrary to your opinion, I don't think he was running from anything.

McCarthy wanted the job and more power to him.

I really don't think that he at least, is a shame blamer and will prove a winner, here.

He already did with two straight 12 win seasons...You already forget?

Just thinking like Jerry.

Why hasn’t big Mike been offered a contract extension?

He did this to Jason. Pressure.
After Jason Garrett, who he tried to show top shelf loyalty towards...he had to reintroduce top level accountability back into the picture. Jerry still and as always, wants to win. Jason is gone and McCarthy stepped up to the plate now.
