Say what you want about TO having an ego, but he always gives 110% on the field.

Objectivity noted. I WILL give him that. Alot of other star players like Randy Moss will take everything for granted, while others will take their big contracts and run.

However-there's no IFs and BUTs. TO is by far the most divisive figure in all of pro sports. The idea of having him even stepping foot in that Dallas lockerroom gives me *shudders*.

Well done Jerry, way to sell your soul to the devil for another ring.

I guarantee this move bited Bill and Jerry in the behind sooner rather than later.

1.Jerry already sold his soul back in '95 when he signed Deion.
2.Bited???....is that a word?

Deion was in a bidding war, and he wasn't some lockerroom cancer to boot. So what?

Isn't it all about getting the ring?

It is the money for the players, the ring for management.

Try saying that to half of the players on the Patriot's last SB team.

This a gamble, I must admitt but hey when you can get a WR as dynamic as T.O. then you go for it. Jerry you always know how to make a bang!!

The best arm in football throwing to the best receiver..interesting gamble :)

Although T.O.'s contract is not officially signed-sealed-and-delivered yet, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank JJ for having the guts to go after and get T.O. baggage and all. As in Texas Hold 'Em, there'll come a time when you just have to put all your chips in. I guess it's that time for the 'Boys. THANK YOU Jerry Jones for having the balls to get this done!

Welcome aboard T.O.! :starspin
Absolutely agree and this is without a doubt a risk worth taking.

Actually, I believe Jerry sold his soul in '89 when he unceremoniously dumped Landry for Jimmy. Fans left the team because of it BUT soon found their way back......

The Bears,Eagles and Commanders are in a bidding war for disgruntled Cowboys fans...
You sound like you belong in Eagles Camp.

Well there you go...it was actually earlier than I thought.

How bout we thank Stephen for working out the deal while JJ was sunning that face? :)

Yeah, funny how winning brought back most of the fans (who left the team) who were so upset w/ the whole Landry debacle. WINNING will cure all..... :)
