Man I hope he wants to go to Chicago.
GB 27 DALLAS 0 2ND QTR
JJ has already forgiven or forgotten that game unfortunately. And besides, winning isn't the priority so game has zero bearing on MM staying or going... obviously.

Yeah they just can't erase that fact. He did some good things this year but it won't change what happened in that GB game.
The way in which JJ/SJ talk about him though, the only focus was the SB MM got back in the day with GB and how the team continued to fight to win against bottom dwellers this year. What game? Cowboys are still one of the winningest teams the last 5-10 yrs is what JJ pointed out the last time he opened his mouth (obviously not referencing playoffs)

Since Mike has already proven he cannot perform miracles and get to the next level with the Jones strategy of ignoring FA, etc, shouldn’t they be striving to find the coach that can?

Or are the choices limited to about zero since Jerry insists on doing Jerry things which constantly undermine the staff?

Tell me, how are they ever supposed to win that way, and do they not recognize it or do they not care?

Looks like they are moving forward some...
Jerry Jones really does NOT want McCarthy as his head coach. It has now took FIVE (5) days to finally START contract talks.
This decision should have been done and over with on black Monday. The Jones had years to decide if they wanted MM back.
But like the Jones also do, is slow walk coaches and players. There process---SUCKS! String/slow walk everyone and during this process, talks in circles during the drama. Jones are actually lazy and really don't want to do the real work to run a team.

I've been saying, I don't care what he does, just make a decision quick instead of drawing it out.

That’s how I know we are horribly ran. They came into the season thinking they need to get to the conference championship then the bar got lowered to beating the Panthers and Commanders…smh

I mean he sucks to me regardless. He seems to be a product of his coordinators. He lost his two coordinators.....they make the playoffs last year but struggle down the stretch. They get Fangio.....and Moore among other things.....now I'm not gonna insinuate Moore is why they are having success but he seems to be doing better than what Brian Johnson could for them. Could also be adding Barkley.

It's probably unfair to him. I've asked Eagles fans what exactly does Sirianni do. All they can tell me is "the players like him". Meanwhile, he consistently has players fighting in the locker room and complaining....or I guess really just AJ Brown lol.
He wins. It’s his first head coaching job in the NFL. Since he got the job he’s out coached Mike McCarthy. Cowboys are going to re-sign McCarthy. Eagles likely terminate Sirianni if they lose at home in the playoffs to the Packers. Sirianni knows his job is to win. McCarthy knows he really doesn’t have to.

He will sign and they will announce it right before or during the gbay Philly game! Its deliberate.

I was thinking right before the superbowl, but I guess that's not possible with other potential suitors.

Waiting till just before Mike is a free agent only helps mike earn more money. If i'm Mike i'd go ahead and hit free agency and se what the bears have to say.

That’s not how I gauge coaches personally. If Sirianni was here would he have more success then Mike has had? Would Mike have less success there? It’s all hypothetical. Because at the end of the day me nor you have any idea what he exactly does. He’s an offensive minded head coach who doesn’t coach the offense. And he doesn’t coach the defense. He’s a figure head coach….which isn’t a knock but it blurs things when trying to figure out how good or bad someone is.

As far as him out coaching McCarthy…I don’t consider that the standard of a good coach lol. Just out coaching him. Mike has shown he can win a SB with an owner who doesn’t meddle.

Mike knows his job is to win. I’m not a fan of the guy but don’t let the incompetence of this front office cloud your judgement on what Mike is. He’s someone who actually has won in the past 20 years in a salary cap era.
