Hey Reggie, Dallas does have that monkey on their back now. They need ot make some serious noise.....this year!

Or else it could get ugly.

i hear ya on that man. I believe they will win a playoff game this year for sure. I just looked up the stats and hope these are correct.
New Orleans hasnt won a playoff game in 6 years and dallas hasnt won one in 9 years (is that right?)
looks like we both have some monkeys to get off our backs

I don't think Colston plays Sunday as he has the dreaded high ankle sprain. He didn't practice Friday from what I hear.

Exactly...the guy has missed two games and hasnt practiced all week. The report said he did some ind drills but did not practiced with the team and I am sure that payton will not sacrifice his star receiver for one game when he is going to need him for the stretch. The saints have alot of tough games coming up and he is going to need him. Plus high anke sprains normally take about 5 good weeks to at least be able to play on it with pain so Colston is basically not ready.

I give the saints a punchers chance because brees is a very, very good qb who is extremely accurate. Their defense is not solid and their offense has been stop before. Remember that most of brees yards have come against suspect defenses ( tampa bay, atlanta) or because they were behind and had to pass (pittburg, cinci). This game will come down to if the cowboys will be able to control the ball while keeping brees frustrated with the two deep zone blitzes.

Our corners should be ableo to hold their receivers at bay. I think Newman can hold this Henderson guy and Henry should not have a problem with Cooper. I think that the saints have not faced a team as balance as the cowboys nor have they faced a good defense since the ravens.

Should be entertaining but being that the Cowboys are at home I think we should have a pretty easy task and take second placed in the conference with some ease.

True, but the bigger difference there is Dallas has 31 others besides their latest one (totalling 32). This is the Saints only one.

Put him on the field. I've never heard of a player recovering from a high ankle sprain in 3 weeks and being 100%. Parcells has put players on IR that had that injury in week 3.

The cowboys have a robust history of winning to be sure. That said, I don't think any team in the league that hasnt won a playoff game in 9 years would be regarded with less skepticism than the cowboys have been in their recent surge.
In any case im pretty much positive they wont make it a decade of not winning one. Theyve got a good team and the nfc has a lot of weak teams going to the playoffs.

True Reggie,

But after losing to Plummer and the Cardinals in 1998, I do get a little nervous still.

I don't consider beating the Falcons the same as beating the Giants, especially on the road. Sure you play ATL in the cordial confines of a climate controlled dome in ATL with fickle fans that show up only to see Mike Vick run.

Go to the Meadowlands in December and pull out a win, even against a 6-6 team.
