I know the "business season" is still relatively young, but are we just that good where we have no need to make any moves?

I mean, thankfully we signed Cory P...Design the rings now...

I'm not even talking a 'big name,' but we obviously have some holes that maybe we would like to address?

Of course maybe naming the new stadium, and getting a boxing match is more important.
Since it is sixteen hours later and you have not made any free agency personnel suggestions to the contrary, deep down you yourself must feel that, "we MUST be that good".

So, umm, what's your point

I doubt there is a real point.

Every team struggles to evaluate their own talent and in most cases, it is overvalued, especially if you are coming off a season that is viewed as a fairly successful one by the organization. Dallas is not unique.

Salaries and everything else all roll up into the decision making. There are certain realities that have to be understood. Nobody even knows what the next CBA holds. If the cap is back, then we have to anticipate that factor. Couple that with a very horrible pool of talent to choose from, I do not understand how there can be a rational debate about our situation this year.

Move along, there is nothing relevent to see with a panic thread like this.

By the end of the offseason and training camp, I think there are going to be several new additions to the 53 man roster. When all is said and done, the team should be quite improved, so it isn't like the team is sitting there thinking the Viking game went well and they don't need to try to improve.

QC (nice initials) has pretty much admitted before that he likes to get posters riled up. Sounds pretty close to trolling, but whatever. Looks like he succeeded.

Isn't there an ESPN reporter that does the same? Oh the irony....

I think I understand where QC is coming from... I dont agree with his antics but he makes a great point. Dont worry QC, my source says, Jerry is expecting to come out guns a blazzin after the draft and after teams dump salary... I dont agree with this bc to me its similar to plan B free agency but then again the Boys got studs like Jay Novachek in plan b!

No Way in ELL, Jerry is going to sit by and let someone win a Super Bowl in his house... Not without a fight. I wouldnt put it past jerry to put on a jersey if Flo punks out again!

Defend the house at all cost will be a year long theme... true Cowboy fans have to unite on this issue!

Has anyone filed a "Missing Person Report" on QC? Just to be safe, I'll start calling the local hospitals. The rest of you can start putting up flyers.

Like I said...guess we are perfect then...thanks...that Minnesota game must have been luck huh? Guess so.
There is something called the draft coming up.
And leading up to and following the draft there is time for moves if needed as well.
Also, we have some young guys that were drafted and injured last year that rightly require roster spots--they too could help us.

Exactly what moves would you propose at this fairly early stage?

Don't get me wrong, it's great that you (and many of us) think we must improve to go to the next level. But there are many ways (internally and externally) for that to happen for the 'Boys. Also recall, that anything involving a trade requires that two teams agree, and there are teams that would not even consider a trade that would help us. Arizona, for example, would not have traded Boldin to us unless we gave away the farm...b/c we are both NFC teams vying for a title.

Overpaying for a player via draft picks and/or dollars can do a lot of harm for many years.

He hasn't provided any suggestions in over 22 hours... and it's his thread.

Good luck.

Didn't you hear Jerry told the league "Draft picks? we don't need no stinking draft picks" :laugh2:
