1) Scandrick did not go hands to the face. This robbed us of a huge turnover, a GREAT interception by Hitchens, who had by far his best game of the year with one interception and another near interception and near fumble recovery. Scandrick was engaging the guy at the shoulders, the guy rips Scandrick's arm up and it brushed across his helmet. Terrible call.

2) I know it's popular right now to hate on Escobar, but he absolutely did not clip that guy. By the way the guy fell, it looked like he was clipped, and he put on an act and got the call. But Escobar actually never even touched him below the waist. Horrible call. We were really starting to run the ball in the fourth quarter and that destroyed that drive.

3) Free MAYBE held on Zeke's 43 yard run, but that was a very ticky-tacky call.

4) The only clear violation was Zeke's hold. That was clearly a hold. All the other calls involving contact with other players were either flat out wrong or highly debatable. Maybe the NFL did want us to lose before the Giants' game??? (actually I don't really believe those conspiracy theories, but dang those bad calls really hurt).

Agreed. That was an atrocious call. I was pissed. I wish it were possible to challenge calls like that. I believe we would have won the challenge.

Worst call of the game. That was no clip. He just fell down behind the guy and the ref thought he clipped him when he really didn't.

3) Free MAYBE held on Zeke's 43 yard run, but that was a very ticky-tacky call.

I thought he did hold him, but I may need to go back and look.

Yeah, Zeke did hold him.

NFL officiating has been piss poor from the beginning of the league. Every fan from every team feels he same way. In the end it seems to, more or less, balance out. But, l get the complaints. That lost interception was a kick in the backside.

There was much more blatant holds against the Vikings. However, they weren't called.

Escobar's hold and Scandrick's hold was not a hold. That's total BS on the part of the refs. Its funny that we had the same refs during the Skins game. Which they also wiped out a big run by Zeke.

I'm all for firing these refs. They have done an awful job and have made the game much boring due to their lack consistency in making the correct calls.

We were robbed of momentum several times. We win this game going away honestly had we not been robbed... The offense simply could not get going.. minny's already stout d and the refs were too much to overcome. Makes the win that much more impressive.

It seems like most of the posters here don't understand clipping. Not only do you have to go below the waist, the defender also had to be engaged with another blocker. So him going below the waist is irrelevant here.

Thanks for that clarification. Thought the same thing. Didn't hear the announcers add that to their analysis...

That's some chicken s*** refereeing right there. Minus those calls, this game has the potential to be a blowout. You cannot expect Dak (or any qb for that matter) to constantly make up for 1st and 20 against this defense. You cannot expect the offense to get in rhythm and build momentum when put in those situations. Dak ended the game with 138 yds and couldn't get in a rhythm for a reason. It seemed that whenever the cowboys started grinding the refs had a hand in killing the momentum. This kinda s*** is killing the sport.

Yeah I guess I didn't understand the interception rule. Scandrick clearly did not go hands to the face, but even if he did why would that overturn the interceptoin? The interception happened cleanly shouldn't it be just a penalty on our offense instead of giving the ball back to Minnesota? Stupid rule.

I'm sure I"ve seen over turnovers where a penalty happens but the team that got the turnover keeps the ball. Can someone explain this?

It doesn't matter if the penalty affected the play or not, it happened before the interception. The only way we could have kept the ball would be if we got the pick and then there was an illegal block or something against us after we had possession.

I thought the hands to the face was after the interception when Hitchens already had the ball and Scandrick was trying to block for him.

No, it happened right off of the line while they were still in the 5 yard chuck zone. The replay of it is included in Yimyammer's post (#4), second half of the first video they re-show the 'hands to the face' but you might not realize that's what it is since he didn't actually commit the penalty in question.

Man, that Scandrick call was horrible. Lame.

I swear, it seemed ANY play that Dallas had that was positive for them there was a flag or I was seriously waiting for a flag.

I'm also not one of these guys that thinks the refs are out to make calls against just one team but sometimes it makes you wonder. One thing I do know is I don't seem to remember a season with SO MANY flags. It is getting ridiculous. Let these guys play ball.
