Went to Saturdays game at Carolina

I also was at the game. My son-in-law got me tickets for Christmas and they were AWESOME seats. Section 137, row 14, seat 24 right next to the tunnel where the Cowboys came in and out and, unfortunately, where Proehl caught his big TD pass to put them ahead. The last time I was at that stadium (for the Panthers/Chefs) we sat in the nosebleed seats near the top, this time we were only 14 rows from the field.

I was amazed at how many Cowboys fans there were at the game. I estimated, based on a count of our section, that nearly a third of the people were Cowboys fans. When Julius scored on his long TD run the stadium erupted, you would have thought it was a home game for us. I thought I was going to be the only one there wearing Cowboys gear (my Roy Williams "throwback") but what a treat it was to see all those Cowboys jerseys and hats.

Great game and a great Christmas present.

On the way up, I was talking to my son about it and we guessed there would probably be 10% Dallas fans at the game. Really, there was probably a third. Lots of loud Dallas fans. It was a great atmmosphere.

Cowboyfan4life wow were not to far from each other I go get my taxes done in Harrisburg every year. Right across the street from there I see Natrone Means's mothers house ran in too him a couple of times his thighs are still huge. Yeah I'm really proud of all the Cowboys fans that showed up. Alot of Boys fans in North Cacalaky

Myself and a few fans went to the game in Charoltte on SAT.
A few observations

1. First off the stadium should be re-named Texas Stadium East there were so many Cowboy fans there. Panther fans were talkin a lot of junk on the way in, not so much on the way out.

2. Stayed at the team hotel and met a few of the players and most were pretty cool. Crayton, Canty , Spears, Ware , Copper, Pile , Witten , Barber , Burnett, Ellis, Tucker , all super cool guys. Met Witten's family there. His mother, brothers and grand parents and mother -in - law . All very nice people. Petermans parents were there. Although I love him as a player Keyshaun is not very friendly. Acts Hollywood. Larry Allen is ok,just doesnt like to be bothered too much. Polite has a very nice looking asian girlfriend.
Anyway enough of the National Enquire stuff, on to football.

3. I saw a post earlier about Burnett being a bust. I had a chance to talk with hime for about 10 mins and to be honest he seemed to me to be kind of goofy and weird. I know he is probably not the only player on this team who is this way but let me tell ya this guy is all about gettin paid. He could care less who he is playing for. He does not seem like the sharpest nail in the box.

4. What an awesome game. Julius was unbeliveable. Ware could not be stopped. Great effort by the whole team. I will say this though. AAron Glenn at this point in his career is a nickle corner at best. Anthony Henry can not get back soon enough. I was sitting in the endzone where Glenn scored the winning touchdown and where the Panthers claim to have tipped the Cundiff kick. The ball was not touched, but it would have been if Cundiff was worth a crap, Nobody blocked Peppers and he was at the nose spot. Very bad blocking on the kicks.

5. For myself living here in the Carolinas, it was just a great feeling walkin out of there with a victroy. I have been a Dallas fan since I was 6 yrs old and always am asked around here why dont you pull forthe home teams ? Panther and Falcon fans both make me ill, although I will be a Falcon fan this weekend, Both have never won anything and think they can talk crap to the fans of the 5 TIME WORLD CHAMPION DALLAS COWBOYS.

Great post and glad the game worked out awesome for you !

Between listening to the game on the radio and watching on TV, I was amazed at the reaction when Julius scored his 2 TDs. Gotta love Cowboy fans. Creating home field advantages for the Boys across the league's stadiums for years.

Was also there at B of A to see the Cowboys Sat., and was overwhelmed at the number of fans we had there; my section (542) was about 1/3 Cowboys fans it seemed.
I see we'll get another chance to put the Panthers down next season in Charlotte; see you all there! :star:

I remember this too. He's was a San Francisco fan (i think), and actually disliked the Cowboys, which is even more goofy and weird.

Anyway, he was an academic All-SEC his sophmore and junior years. Granted, it's the SEC, but still... :) Team captain as a junior and senior also.

I'd hate to be judged as goofy off a 10 minute convo with a total stranger who was probably acting a heck of a lot goofier than I was.

SEC? Tennessee produces the best basket weaving majors money can buy! ;)

Thanks for the post, it is always nice to get a game perspective....

Zag - get off this guy's @$$.... People are allowed to post opinions on this board....

I was in Section 522.
I stayed at the Marriott... 1 block from the stadium on Trade.

Cowboys Fans were WELL represented there!

Maybe Burnett needs time to growup, to understand what it takes to be an NFL player. Being a NFL player is where the money at.

ell however it ends we ripped the heart out of those PAnthers, payback for the playoff game a couple of years, nobody gave us a snowballs chance it hell, that catch by Glenn, it was the season, one handed with a bad hand going out of bounds, you know even if we miss the playoffs old BP gave us our monies worth, these guys never quit did they

Ive been checking out the Panthers Huddle board this week, and most posters are absolutely convinced Carolina got jobbed, to the point where even a few of them claim the "fix was on" last Saturday. The most hysterical idea I read there had to do with Tagliabue actually wanting to see the Cowboys win, help Dallas, etc. Now isnt that a hoot???
Ive considered the source, but they're saying some very, very nasty things about Cowboys fans and the team, too. Makes me wonder what will happen when we go to Charlotte and beat them again next fall? Oy vey......
Go Falcons and Eagles.

Natrones brother used to del. bottled water to my office. Small world.

Ya know, I didn't realize that this many Cowboy fans was going to be there. Next year if the Cowboys do come back to Charlotte, we have to do a tailgate party and put the pics on this board.
