Went to Saturdays game at Carolina

I was at the game Saturday also. The Carolina crowd was very quiet. I thought the crowd was undeserving of a team poised to win its division. Reminds me of UNC fans. Cowboy fans are not as famous as Browns, Raiders, Steelers and others when speaking of crowd support, but it really was rather flat for the Panthers on Sat.

I did not know that Burnett was a Skins fan? ....

Yep, he was the cousin of Q_the_man- Burnett hated the Cowboys according to him- search the archives and you'll find some of it about a year ago.

That is definately the reputation he has around Dallas. The funny thing is, people think Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders are that way, but they are some of the nicest guys you ever want to meet...just dont bring your girl around them .

I've always wondered why I've never met a Duke FOOTBALL fan... but know thousands of Duke Basketball fans?

But heck... I didn't know Duke had fans period until the early 90s.

But lets be fair.
Give Duke (basketball) Fans some credit...

That is so funny, you are right. Where are the long-lines for Duke football tickets? Coach K reminds me of Joe Gibbs.

Not to continue this running diatribe, but Duke grid teams have been to two Rose Bowls, two Orange Bowls, a Sugar and a Cotton Bowl, even though that was decades ago, few if any ACC teams can claim that. Im vastly outnumbered here, so Ill shut up with that factoid. :

That is pretty impressive, even if it was back in the olden days. Just to let everyone know, I'm not a Dookie or a Heel- my school didn't even have a football team.
