Wentz back issues?

It's not unusual for a football player to be experiencing some aches and pains and the man did play two games in 11 days. The Eagles are probably just channeling their inner Belichick and jerking around with the injury report.

We'll soon find out coz I'm guessing if this is a real issue, we'll see him running less.

Carson Wentz - QB - Eagles
Carson Wentz (back) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Wentz is working through a back injury, though it shouldn't prevent him from playing Sunday when the Eagles host Carolina. Coming off ACL surgery in 2017, the third-year signal-caller has played well this season, topping 300 yards passing in two of his last three games. He's worth firing up as a QB1 in Week 7.

this took aikman and irvin down.
And me.

I don't want to see Wentz wincing in pain. (pun intended). We need to see how the team is going to do against the starting qb. We still have to deal with their defense especially the pass rush. Gonna be a good game.

my guess is due to knee injury he may be over compensating when he runs or throws and his biomechanics are off a bit.

I don't wish this on any player and especially him. By all appearances, the young man is a class individual that just happens to play for a team in a classless city (actually, I guess they're not completely classless, they're just 3rd class). But if it negatively impacts the Eagles, it couldn't happen to a more deserving team.

I think Wentz is career is going to be shorter than it should be unfortunately. His style of play and frame might pose problems withstanding the violence of the game.

There's no question he racks up injuries and often is nicked up a lot. Going to be interesting to watch over the next few seasons.

FWIW, up here in Philly, the local beat reporters are saying this is no big deal.

Better fan? Debatable. Better person? You lose.

I'm only interested in being a fan. I put the team before myself. Whereas you're a lot like Jerry. It's all about you. Work on that.

If nothing else, you and Rock's conversations are entertaining. Y'all keep at it.

He does win in the avatar contest though - love me some Shiner. Hate that I can't get that at Jerry World like at Texas Stadium.
