Wentz back issues?

Deshaun Watson has to sit down just to take a pee after what we did to him. He reportedly had a collapsed lung, cracked ribs and bruised ribs after taking hit after hit from our defense. He may never be 100% this season as a result. Now what do you think we will do to Wentz after a few hits? This week, watch what we do to Alex Smith. Don't think for a minute that Smith doesnt know what we did to Watson.

Wentz has already shown to be injury prone.
Right...and I guess that's the by product if you will of being a mobile QB...you tend to take hits that others may not. We damn near put Watson in the hospital. Guess it kinda squashes the notion that mobile QB's take less punishment. Look at Mike Vick as well. His career was cut short due to the wear and tear...and the hits he took.

its part of playing football or any sport, I also know when you have lower leg/knee surgery it changes the way you walk and run and will cause Hamstring, back, and other injuries as your Gate is very different and now you are off balance a bit..Besides when a player like wentz is still recovering from Major knee surgery they should give him the ROMO type treatment, he doesnt need as much practice..let them rest and play the games

LOL at thinking Risen is the toxic one.

You are defending a guy who openly admitted on this board that his only real purpose here is to whine and complain that people are too critical of the cowboys.
yes

I have no issue with Risen cheering for a career ending injury.

I was 8 years old when I saw Michael Irvin being carted off the field with a career ending injury while Eagles fans cheered. So - it's not that I am "stooping to their level", but it's more that I just hate the Eagles more than any other team in professional sports and feel gratified when awful things happen to them.

Risen’s Carson Wentz Schlick can be annoying at times. But I gotta admit he is killing it, in this thread.

I hate Wentz because he is a division rival and my most hated teams QB but he is a stand up young man with good values. I wish him to have a full recovery.

If the Cowboys can beat the Eagles I be more satisfied that we do it with Wentz starting. That way there would be no excuses or downplaying the win from the sports media or Iggles fans.

Maybe nothing serious but as a Cowboy fan, it's certainly something to keep an eye on.

The Eagles played six night ago. Today, their starting quarterback wasn’t able to fully participate in practice.

According to the official practice report, Carson Wentzwas limited with a back injury.

I don't take much stock in that. They probably want to rest him.

Wentz has already shown to be injury prone.

And he is considered to be more of a traditional pocket passer. A thread was made about how long running QBs last in the NFL injury which. But, even some traditional pocket passers have gotten season or career shortening/ending injuries. Even though Wentz will scramble sometimes if he needs to.

We'll soon find out coz I'm guessing if this is a real issue, we'll see him running less.
I would think the story would show up under biggest injury concerns for all 32 teams on ESPN.COM.

Philadelphia Eagles
Jason Peters is going to play through a reported torn biceps, and Lane Johnson, who missed Wednesday's practice, is trying to gut through a high ankle sprain. Slot corner Sidney Jones (hamstring) is likely to miss some time, and the secondary is already without S Rodney McLeod. It will be a patchwork group Sunday, with rookie Avonte Maddox a candidate to move into the nickel role for Jones. -- Tim McManus
