Wentz back issues?

my guess is due to knee injury he may be over compensating when he runs or throws and his biomechanics are off a bit.
I'm suddenly picturing Wentz as an android with artificial bones or something lol.

Right...and I guess that's the by product if you will of being a mobile QB...you tend to take hits that others may not. We damn near put Watson in the hospital. Guess it kinda squashes the notion that mobile QB's take less punishment. Look at Mike Vick as well. His career was cut short due to the wear and tear...and the hits he took.

Yup, that's why I hope Dak can learn some things besides being mobile. I mean Tony Romo started out as a Mobile Quarterback and was most dangerous when on the move. He had something to fall back on after he lost his mobility. RG3 didn't.

You'd just about have to figure his injury that required surgery has set the ol' boy back, being limited in his pre injury active style, I shouldn't assume he'd just gimped around while recovering and not maintained his core strength,,, if he didn't single handedly help move a friends refrigerator and washing machine,,, off hand I'd say my assumption of LAZY probably has some merito_O

Eagles fans like Risen are going to be hurt by this. Probably just something minor but he's far too young to start having back problems. Back problems don't get better as you get older.
Risen is no more of an Eagles fan than I am , but we both see Wentz as the one that got away because Jerry didn’t attempt to move up and secure the QB position for years to come. Wentz has helped produce the Eagle’s first Super Bowl, while Dak has produced unlimited false hope that will set the team back for the next decade. I was a fan of Wentz before he was drafted and I still am a fan of his abilities.

But you don’t feel the need to whine about it over and over again

So for the record, you are defending a guy who admitted he essentially likes to pick fights with people on this board that he deems are too critical of the Cowboys?

LOL.
a trout, purported to have an I.q. of 6 is often times smart enough not to take the bait. the choice to have a foolish argument with a foolish person is of one's own making.

Best comment from that post: "He hurt is back carrying the team."

Wentz was on the bench the whole playoffs, so I don't see how he 'helped produce a super bowl'.

I have friends that are hardcore Eagles fans, and they're not all that confident that the Eagles would have won a super bowl if Wentz was still qb, at the stage he is in his career.

Mobile QB, yes...but he wasn't a running QB. While I'm not convinced Dak is the answer to our SB aspirations, he seems more careful about the hits he opens himself up to when he runs. The times he seems unaware are when he's in the pocket.

He wasn’t on the bench while the Eagles was winning the games that sent them to the Super Bowl.

I think Wentz is a solid qb, but not this utterly amazing Rodgers v2 and the one we missed out on. If Dak got us to the playoffs and our backup qb won the superbowl for us, the rhetoric would be to keep him on the bench and that Dak was a system qb.

If Wentz was here, we wouldn't have Zeke and we'd be out several other high picks and we haven't managed to produce a winning season yet in Dallas under the Garrett regime without a dominant runningback running for a historic amount of yards.

You have to win in the playoffs to get to the superbowl and wentz was on the bench during the playoffs so how did he win games to get them to the superbowl?

If Dak got injured during that 13 and 3 season and Kellen Moore came in and won them a superbowl, he would get credit for 'sending them to the superbowl'?

very early in his career he would run with it. Until he figured out to throw it before he crossed the line of scrimage. Dak was doing that in 2016 and he should go back to it.

I think Wentz is going to be fragile like Romo was, maybe much earlier in his career since he started getting banged up right off the bat.

Yup, true that with the draft picks. The Eagles would've been in trouble too for getting Wentz, if those darn Vikings didn't give them those picks right back >.>
