Rivera admitted he did not know his team could be eliminated last week when he started Wentz.

Rivera's moves sounds desperate, confused and it makes the team appear dysfunctional.

Knowing Wentz up close should have well indicated that Rivera cannot/should depend upon a broken Prince Carson again - and should not have unless it's injury related.

He may have lost a confidence, respect and creditability among his players with that move.
and the bewildered response to the playoff math all the more has to wonder about his awareness and how limited he is as a HC.

I'd be shocked if we aren't watching Ron's last game as an NFL head coach. Maybe he gets an opportunity down the road, but Washington seems to be headed for yet another overhaul, perhaps from the very top down.

As for Carson, he might want to try the USFL. It's only a shame that he's not going to leave behind a cap crater as a parting gift.
