People heal differently, and are you an NFL player? I've had both my knees scoped, haven't re-injured them, but I don't play pro football.
Sean Lee had multiple knee injuries, but once he had it surgically repaired, hasn't had problems. Not to say it's better than before, but having an acl tear doesn't mean you will invariably have more problems with the knee. Lots of people believe a broken bone heals stronger than before, but that's a misnomer, the callus that forms at the site of the break is stronger at that particular point, but overall the bone is no stronger than before.
No way to tell if Wentz will have more problems, he may or may not. May continue to run as he did before, or run less. May get hit like he did before, but I read he'll likely wear a brace on the knee from now on, and that provides additional support.
Just too many unknowns...
