No they put him on their retired list. That's not releasing him.

i heard that they did release him from the retirement list, dont quote me on that, but thats what i heard

You must have slept thru December when he was awful.

Jet fans wish they have their 3rd round pick back. He wasn't worth it. Even if hadn't retired.

Well he was injured.

And if he plays in Minny he will be in a dome.

And he will play with an excellent running game.

And be back in a West Coast offense.

And have way more weapons than that Jets offense had last season.

I don't want to see him in Minny.

Give me Rosenfels or Tavaris Jackson.

I stand corrected. I hadn't seen that.

right thats it he is totally free now to do what he wants

espn again said that farve will meet with coach childress privately later this week and that farves agent bus is going to get a QBs coach to work with farve to get him into shape

How does a man who throws 20+ int. keeps getting so much attention?

I think everyone had to believe this would happen the very minute the Jets released him. He wanted to be in Minny all along so I'm not shocked, at all, that he went about it this way.

Oh well.

When he's hot you don't get a lot better. He's hot a lot less these days tho. And when he's cold he'll kill a team's game.

This could be a good or bad thing for MN. Jackson needs to develop. They've given up on him or they think another year in training will be a good thing. MN is instantly more of a threat to get to the playoffs and deep into them with Favre even if his skills are decreased.

He should. He's better than half the starting QBs in this league right now.

He'll be in a dome, playing for a playoff team, handing to Adrian Peterson. A lot better situation than NY.

I think its pathetic, but by the same token, I agree with everthing you wrote.

See post below. He was the captain of the Jets slide.

I was laughing... Jets fans in the sports bars in NY were fuming... saying things like "this frocking guy... another one(INT)"

Brett just texted me, he said they are just going to see Zac Efron's ''17 again.''

Nothing to see here

that was actually a funny movie, the girl i saw it with hated it i was to busy laughing

Don't the Jets still own his rights since they didn't release him? How can anyone from Minn meet with him without the Jets permission?

they released him

If Favre doe sign with Minny that puts a lot more talent in the NFC especially with Cutler going to the Bears.

Outside of the NFC West all the divisions are going to be really tough. Oh and the Lions may go 0-16 again.

They released him so he could retire a Packer :laugh1:

What's going to be bad for him is if he's really doing this 'revenge' thing on the Packers is when Minny gets beaten by Greenbay both times this year. How's that for revenge Brett?
