Ed was just on from Dallas, nice to see Romo and Ware's locker and jerseys in the background.

They asked about trades.

Ed said that Dallas just did it's 20th mock draft this morning and of the 20 mock drafts they have done the Cowboys have traded a 1st round pick in 14 of them.

He speculates that if McFadden falls past the Jets that the Cowboys will make a hard charge to move up to get him.

If McFadden does not fall he speculates that they will take a RB at #22 to team up with Marion Barber.

With the #28 pick he speculates that Dallas will try hard to convince the Lions to trade WR Roy Williams to them.

He speculates that the Cowboys/Lions #28/Williams trade may depend on if QB Chad Henne is still sitting there at #28. (So I take it there must be rumors the Lions like Henne).

I think Henne will be there at 28. I didn't know the Lions were interested in Henne. I figured it would have been a defensive player they were looking for.

Henne being there might depend on when Brohm goes...if he goes say 17 to the Chiefs that might prompt the teams that really want Flacco and Henne to start moving up sooner

I remember hearing the other day that the Dolphins really liked Henne too

I don't see DMAC making it past the Jets. If he's there, they'll take him.

There has been some information out there that the Lions like Henne. I can see them making the trade because Brohm, Flacco and Henne are projected to be selected before their pick in the 2nd. I haven't heard anything about their current No. 2 QB, Dan Orlovsky. I thought he looked OK and he has all the measurables. I guess they don't think he's a franchise QB. IMO, I don't think Henne is either.

I agree, but wasnt it Vela that suggested such a possibility by trading up for McFadden, then trading Barber straight up for Roy Williams or Anquan Boldin? Both those teams are supposedly interested in 1st rd RB's
